I had it done a year ago. I had some painful cramping when I woke up and about 3 hours after I got home that was greatly helped with Advil. I went to work the next day with no problems.

It hasn't been that long. A year ago. But, I don't remember. That leaves me to believe it was an easy recovery. My Gyn. is wonderful though. I've never had a bad recovery from any surgery he has performed. Can't say that about the last one. And, I could tell you how horrible those recoveries were.
Anyway, best thing I ever did. Between the ablation and the Depo Provera (I have severe endometriosis.), I haven't had a period in a year. I suffered since the onset with horrible cramping and heavy bleeding. Eventually, my cycles were nothing short of crime scene horrible. Completely incapacitated me. Had to schedule everything around it, as vacations would have been pointless not being able to leave the hotel room.
This is how life is supposed to be. I missed out on so much.
