I wanted to update you on your donations to this project. There are 9 ladies that our scrap group is helping. The crop organizer had 2 8' tables set up to gather what we brought. She was doing a 3 day crop. I only stayed for two and at the end of the second day the tables were stacked full and boxes were piled underneath. They had to start stacking stuff at the end of the table on the floor. There were two Cricuts and a Cameo (older versions but still new looking). Ladies were coming in with the hotel's luggage carts stacked full. One came in with about a 12x24 box of page kits she had made. Beautiful kits!
It made me emotional to see the out pouring of help.
So - thank you for your part in this effort.

I saw your initial post and then it disappeared and I am happy to learn that great efforts were made toward this project. I imagine there are many other scrappers affected as well. I would love to know that the ones who have been helped were able to reach out to other scrappers and crafters. We all have so much that to lose everything is unimaginable.
I hope this effort will continue and that you will continue to keep us updated.

It seems that what you are talking about is already happening. Our group was initially helping four girls. They brought in two more. And we've gotten three more from a Facebook help page. I'll ne sure to keep you updated.

Have you posted to the FB group for Paradise where it helps match helpers with survivors? I think you might reach additional people who would really appreciate the outpouring of support.

Thanks for the update! I was hit with the stomach flu so I haven’t been in my scrapbook room to pack anything up but I will update you once I feel better and am ready to send.

Not directly. We hired one of the HR people from Feather River Hospital who was displaced. And I have colleagues who had friends and family affected. I lost my home in house fire when I was 17 and as difficult as that was, it cannot compare to the loss of an entire community and the struggle that so many are facing.
