Any "Scandal" fans? Did you watch the season premiere? What

I was disappointed the season premiere skimmed over the time gap since the events of last season (e.g. pres was re-elected, associates got different jobs) without adding depth to any characters, except maybe Mellie. The show will likely return to the same formula each week - someone in crisis, Pope & Assoc. to the rescue, Olivia/Fitz/Jake love triangle, & occasional drama involving secondary characters (e.g. Mellie, Papa Pope, Cyrus, Huck). Since the show doesn't seem to evolve, rather re-hash the same storylines, my interest is waning. I plan to give it a few more episodes before deciding its fate.
