Is there a way to go to the next page of a thread without having to go back to the top of the page? That's the only thing that's bugging me.

Yep, the Next and Previous scroll down with you on a thread, for most of us. Try scrolling and watch the top left corner, see if it works for you!

Weird to be on the left .. or maybe just weird in the U.S.? I dunno but thanks for pointing it out.

Another useful thing, especially for long threads, is the gear thingy over on the right on each thread. When you get to the bottom of the page on a long thread just click the gear and there's an option to "go back to top" so you don't have to scroll.

Thanks for posting this question and answers - now I've learnt two new things ETA - I need to work on an avatar - that grey alien thing is not doing it for me

Now if I can just figure out how to navigate quickly back to the "list" of threads. If you hit the back button, it doesn't reload (and show what has been read or new threads) or scroll up to the top. And if that is all I have to worry about today, I am going to count my blessings.
