I'm looking into buying all the mini archival inks. They are my go to ink but travel with big pads is not ideal.
Are the mini pads just as good? Are you content just using the mini vs a full size pad ?

I have some mini Archival ink pads that I take to crops and such. I love the size. I only have black in the full size, so not sure how the colors compare to the minis. I do fell like the minis might need an ink refill soon, or at least ink refresher.

I have all of the minis and LOVE them. I mostly only use Archival inks so I decided to try the minis. Other minis I have had in the past, I never used or liked. But these--LOVE them. I have taken them to classes, on vacation, etc., and they work just as well. Super pleased I have these in mini form.

FYI: Hobby Lobby has started carrying some of the Archival minis, and all 12 of the Archival Distress color minis. You can use coupons on them. Last week all stamp ink was 40%, kicking myself for not grabbing them then!!!

I’m thrilled that I can now get the TH distressed 4 pad in the minis. I use this pad a lot and have always been aggravated that it was so hard to ink larger stamps with it.

Yes, I use them instead of dye ink because I also use wet media and I need the waterproof properties of Archival ink. Plus, I love them for their colors and how nicely they stamp.

Thanks Patter....I’ve been impressed with the few I have and I really like the black. Wondering if I should purge some of the full-size lawn fawn dye ink pads I have and just go with archival minis.... Hmmmmmmmmmm. ........

I will say that I have the minis AND the full-size Archival inks. Yes, I am that addicted. I do have other inks that I use but these are my "go to."

Do you use a stamp positioning tool at all - Stamparatus, Tim Holtz platform, or (ugh)Misti? I've found that when I use my platform, minis work much better. I don't get nearly as much extra ink on my top plate.
