Thanks, Linda. Awesome final challenge! Can't believe this is the last of 28-4-28! I have just this one left to do. Not sure what direction I am going to go with this. The first thought I have is of a Vision Board, but not sure if I have the time to get that done by end of day tomorrow. I know that there is extra time for bonus points, but I will be leaving home Friday morning, so if I am going to do this, it has to be on Thursday.

The pokeypeas group encouraged/inspired me to journal about grandma fixing our cat. I can do that in my special moments album I've been working on .
Grammadee, have a safe and fun trip.

Here is my page. I was inspired by the OLW thread. I can never choose just one word, so I started adding some of the words and phrases that inspire me, many of them "borrowed" from the ladies who are actually DOING this project. In the end, I could narrow it down to TWO words: "Embrace Imperfection". This was particularly applicable to my not deleting and then actually printing this selfie I took in the vehicle the night of my birthday. Here you go... j embrace imperfection by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

I love it! all the words, the flower cluster, the different colours for 'embrace imperfection' and of course YOU! Great job on the challenge grammadee (and congrats - that's all 28 for you isn't it?)

Here is mine. I was inspired by the design of a page I did earlier (see below).

The pokeypeas group encouraged/inspired me to journal about grandma fixing our cat. I can do that in my special moments album I've been working on . Not much journaling, but there are so many things I don't know about my grandmother. She just sent us out of the room and did the deed and that's all I know. The crochet flowers were made by my dd. I don't even know if my gm crocheted. I don't remember ever seeing her.
She was always busy with outside chores or cooking when I was around. When I stayed with her, she asked me every day if my bowels had moved. I thought that was a little weird. She made me churn buttermilk which i didn't enjoy much. And yes, that's me in the bonnet. I hated that bonnet! I know I don't do any of my hobbies when my grands are visiting, either...too busy with them, so she probably did crochet.
The little bitty girl with the huge cat is my sister. She is probably the one who scribbled on the picture, too.

I love the stories behind the inspiration @elaynef and grammadee. Mine doesn't have a story. Like thracian, I was inspired by layouts. Pinkfresh Indigo Hills 2 was featured in the September Hip Kit, but it wasn't in my scrap budget at the time. I fell in love with the line after seeing all the beautiful pages put out by their DT. So, I did the next best thing. I printed a coloring page of leaves and use my chalks to color them like the PP. This was months ago, but I couldn't think of what photos to use them with until now. Thanks for the challenge Linda!

msliz - I love the coloured leaves - glad that you found photos to use with them - and that leafy border is perfect
