I made 3 of these as I worked on getting the proportions right. One was way too large and required making a big envelope. The last 2 worked perfectly. There are birthday wishes in the center blocks of each leg. Could also have a sentiment on the top squares. Pop Up Accordion Card #4 cardstock, pp, pink, #11 dies, #14 Rectangles, #15 Squares #16 B-day card, #19 Butterflies, #30 Stitching, #31 Make a card, #60 ribbon. I am only counting 2 cards, so 12x2 plus one for posting.=25

What a sweet (pun intended) page, thracian ! I love the way you balanced the large photo block with the smaller journaling one, and all the pretty elements stacked in each. How did the surgery go? nylene, those interactive cards are amazing! Off to the Gallery to get a better look!

The surgery went very well--thanks for asking! I thought his eyelid mass was a stye for so long. They removed the mass and it was benign. He has much less tear staining now, and more importantly, it doesn't bother him. He will occasionally scratch at it but not nearly as often. He turned 10 in January and is still my cuddly love. <3

Leaving some L❤️VE for the first half of page 4!
AussieMeg Love all the blue on your 'Hot Summer Days' double LO. Such great energy with the vertical elements juxtaposing the main horizontal paper strip composition! I think your journaling on three labels is genius and creates just the right amount of contrast to the bubbles of the top pattern paper strip. Also, your beachy photos are killing me: can it be summer over here already? ☀️🌊 'Best Friends Always' is so adorable: the stitched heart row, adorable doodly ephemera and stinkin' cute smiley faces! I love that the top banner has been attached with staples and how you mirrored the girls' clothing colours with the pattern papers. 'Emma's 4th Birthday' is really well done. The glitter paper adds great pop and texture. You did wonderfully with the sketch. I love how clean you went for the line of photos! 'Aunty Bev's 80th' is such an elegant yet modern execution of the Bonus challenge. I really appreciate your eye for balance and subtle contrast: the circle elements on this page are on fire. I love you how you turned them into scallops with the striped pattern paper and chose those flowers to emphasise the round dynamic again. The line of stitching is just perfect.
kitbop Oh, look at that cute kitty face! 🐱 *boops laptop screen* Pip looks so much like my mother's foster kitty, it's uncanny. Love that you made a page about two Christmas gifts from different years. The play on shapes with the hexagons is incredible on this LO and I'm secretly adding this to my Scrappy Inspiration pinboard. Must do something similar with a stamped background paper. I really like how you popped up a Christmas stamp embellishment on top of it, by the way. *takes more notes* You did that Pebbles Christmas line justice! Gorgeous layering, by the way. 'An Amazing Day In Stratford' is full of scrappy goals: extracting the blue to ground the LO, lovely matting, shape play and tucking embellishments on the sides. The numbers really emphasise the story told like a planner page showing you the course of the day, so smart! You are rocking those hexagons. Love all the subtle stitching on this page. 👌
nylene So much cuteness in your 'Chocolate Bunny' LO! I love that you recreated the Easter egg hunt in the garden with your LO. 🥚🌿🐇 You're so good at telling the story with your crafting skills by illustrating what you're documenting. Love the white butterflies with sequin bodies: so delicate and fresh. The easter egg banner is perfect and I really appreciate how you chose to make the bunting blue (colour of the sky, I see what you did there!) to let the bright Easter egg shades shine.

Thank you nylene - it all came together easily except for the bodice which took me 5 hrs to sew (including 8 handsewn eyelets). It's a Girl Scout event next weekend and she's SO looking forward to it. Love your cards - so pretty with all the hearts! managed one 8x8 layout tonight for DD's Girl Scout album "Outdoor Art" (8x8) = 1 (layout) + 1 (sharing) + 5 (#4 cardstock/PP/green/pink/enamel(nuvos) + 1 (#6 8x8) + 2 (#11 die cut butterfly/dragonfly) + 1 (#14 rectangle photos) + 1 (#15 square layout) + 1 (#19 butterfly) + 2 (#36 photos already printed) + 1 (#38 nuvos) = 16pts

I am amazed by people who can actually sew complicated patterns. Great job with the period costume, Linda ! And I love that your outdoor art page has a photo of her face and then a closeup of her creation. That swap group sounds like fun, gramma . Do you each get a part of the page to create and then share your pages later?

grammadee - Thank you - the costume was actually really easy sewing for the most part...the chemise used a pattern but the skirt, apron, and headscarf were all cut by measurements (rectangles except the scarf was a triangle). The bodice was the hard part - it's reversible, had darts and vents, and those dratted handsewn eyelets. This is my second outfit - DD18 participated in the event as a 6th and 7th grader as well. She was more petite than her sister though so her costume didn't fit.

grammadee The swap organizer chooses 2 themes each month. You must make a title plus 4 additional pieces. All the pieces are supposed to be at least 4 layers. You swap then make your own layout. This is my first month so I'll see how it goes.

Just dropping in with my creations. Promise to come back in later to catch up on commenting!
From the crop, here's my take on one of yesterday's challenges about making something for someone different: here's a LO for the parents of a Muslim friend who always invite us over at some point during Ramadan to break fast with them. This is a little iftar (breaking fast dinner) page that I'll fill in with a photo (friend shared a Google folder to choose from but there are hundreds of photos of Ramadan last year and I haven't gotten around to selecting one yet so I'm just reusing the blossom picture as a place holder). I'll get this printed as a large 12x12 photo and frame it to thank them for extending the yearly invitation.
