thracian - wow, I admire your positive attitude associated with "silver lining". We all need to take a lesson. Your layout is lovely. I am a sketchy-flowers fangirl, and love how you used that pp here. justlisa7 - I have said over and over that these wedding layouts are STUNNING, your original choice of colour scheme, how they are elegant and beautiful without feeling too formal. The overlay in the background (I think) on "happily ever after" is an amazing depth of feel. I adore your layers on all the layouts, and the depth all of them give. Great photos of them too! KikiPea - awesome clustering and mixed media look! What a great background. Is that from the mixed media pad? I have it, but haven't broken into ANY of my new Vicky stuff.

I'm so behind with commenting so trying to catch up a little this afternoon! Leaving love for the current page (8):
thracian Commented on your sweet ride in the Crop thread. Love that the Mustang was the silver lining of an otherwise crappy rental experience!
justlisa7 'Happily Ever After' is such a pretty and romantic setting for that beautiful photo. I love your floral clusters with the Flourish die-cuts. The periwinkle-ish blue is such a lovely shade to complement the orange tones in the photo. And how beautiful is your mimicking of the sparklers in the night with the vertically placed leaf elements on the pattern paper mats! That floral vellum has my heart. So, so beautiful. I absolutely adore the dynamics of 'Cutting The Cake'. You made a great design decision by creating three rows of three pictures to tell the story. I really love how each row tells a different part of the story: all is sweet and well in row 1, row 2 focuses on the fun/messy part of the cake-cutting and the final row is about the details. Well done! The embellishments clusters help the eye travel through the page and add such a pretty touch. Just gorgeous! (I commented on your lovely crop LOs in the Crop thread)
KikiPea So much energy through the entire 'Enjoy Today' page! You have a great eye for making bold elements and colorus work. Those mega clusters are so many layers of fun and details: I love discovering ALL the elements in them. The vertical split works so well here with those horizontal pictures. The mixed media touches tie it all up together beautifully. Great job!

Looks like I never got around to posting my final crop creations in here (oops)... Digital 12x12 LO: "You + Me" which is a quick page about our very simple Mardi Gras celebration at home (it's mostly a pig-out day here when loads of people eat pancakes for dinner) and a bit of a failed attempt at making American-style pancakes. It's nothing special but I love that I can "waste" a page on smaller memories and iffy photos with digital scrapbooking.

*Finally* got this finished. Like pulling teeth, took 5 days! OLD Bo Bunny. I customized most of the embellies so it's my fault I was so slow with it. The snowflakes are dies, and they are layered with vellum. The word "snow" was a used sticker, that I fussy cut the outline, then backed that on vellum which I coloured. I changed the colour of old Basic Grey letters for "unexpected". I created the "walking in a winter wonderland" in photoshop to match the layout. I stitched in silver thread...which is always breaking... But I like how it turned out!!! layout snow unexpected by kirstendrew, on Flickr
