How do you travel with your ink pads that don’t have hinged/locked/attached lids? My lids (SC/Catherine Pooler/AE) always seem to manage to move around or off when I travel to a crop. I have rubber banded the stack together in the past, but I was wondering if there was a better way? Am I the only one with this crazy problem, lol?

For regular sized ink pads I use the fat rubber bands that come on broccoli and celery to hold them closed. This is only for my black inks, because...
I've almost completely switched all colored inks to the cubes and those go in the TH mini distress ink tins.
For Oxides, I have a plastic shoebox container that they fit pretty well in.

I go away for the summer and take some of my inkpads. I use those pony tail bands for the cubes that have loose lids like PTI. I also keep them in the TH tins. The pony tail bands are thin enough so the cubes still fit in the tins. The rest are banded together as needed. My full size and cube Hero Arts don’t need bands and my Distresss Oxides get stacked in bunches of five and banded together with newspaper bands. All my stamping supplies are loaded in a plastic crate or two with a few smaller containers inside that keep stuff from shifting on curvy roads. Not sophisticated but it gets me there.

For Oxides, I have a plastic shoebox container that they fit pretty well in. Speaking of Oxides (and Distress), I keep mine in these boxes: 6x6 Essentials by Art BinThey fit 12 perfectly! 6x6 is the inside measurement with a tiny bit to spare. As long as you have 12, no lid is popping off. And it is by Art Bin, so it is not cheaply made and the closure is very secure. I don't mind keeping them in sets of 12, because when I travel with them I don't necessarily need more than 12 (usually), so I just take what I need without having to take a bigger container. ETA: I have gotten mine in-store at 50% off.
