Wowww.....Back in 2012, Led Zeppelin was honored. I loved EVERY. SINGLE. MINUTE!!!
Jack Black---GREAT intro !!! I agree with him: "best. band. ever. "
Every artist was FANTASTIC--- and whoa---Lenny Kravitz singing "Whole Lotta Love"
I've always thought Lenny is dead sexy !!! (He starts at 7:50)
I also LOVED seeing then President Obama and Michelle enjoying it (especially at the
8:23 mark!)
The son of their original drummer (John Bonham, who died in 1980) is also
an ammmaaazing drummer!!! Made me so sad, thinking of how proud his Dad
would have been, and I'm sure the rest of the band is in awe of his talent, too!
Annnnd, Heart did an awesome "Stairway to Heaven", along with a huge CHOIR--- that added SO much to it; I only wish I could have heard the choir a little better!
At the end, Robert Plant appears to be wiping away a few tears.
I can only IMAGINE
the memories all those BRILLIANT songs brought back !!!
