I am going to San Antonio on Tuesday, flying back Friday. I am from Minnesota. I will be leaving in the 20’s and rain. The conference I am going to is going to be cold.(I consider cold) They say the speakers get hot talking, so they keep the room cool for them. It feels around 60-65. I need to dress appropriate for that, but wondering how to dress in the evening when I go out into the city. I feel like I need to pack two outfits a day. Thanks for your help!

www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=weather+san+antonio+txShows daily highs of 72-75 while you are here, with rain. Perhaps you can pack outfits that use a jacket/sweater in the building and without the jacket in the PM. Make sure you walk along the river, or take one of the riverboats one evening. Lots of restaurants/clubs along the river.

Well, depending on what day you are there, at night it will be 66-44, and possibly some rain. I would for sure take a light weight jacket. At night, I would wear jeans, a nice shirt and comfortable shoes. And then take your light weight jacket in case you need it while you are out and about.

I was in SA for a conference last week. It was nearly 80 on day 1 and I was hot in business attire indoors, but comfortable for an evening cocktail hour on the terrace. Day 2 topped out in the 50s. I was comfortable in business attire indoors, and freezing at an outdoor evening event with only a heavy blazer. Day 3 warmed up a bit and it was comfortable outdoors during the day.
Long story short—it’s Texas and the weather changes daily. Layers are your best bet.

The trick is to layer. If you only want to take one outfit a day, which I can understand, then make sure there are layers you can add and layers that can be taken off. So instead of wearing a cami under a tunic, wear a short sleeve knit shirt that can be wron by isself and so on.

What type of events will you be attending in the evening? I would say most places are pretty casual but if you have specifics we can better guide you. I agree with those that say to layer.

My experience last year with a conference in San Antonio... yes the conference rooms are overly airconditioned to about 65 but by the time you get the speaker going and a room full of warm bodies the room starts to feel much warmer.
My advice is plan to dress for warm weather but take a light jacket, cardigan or pashmina. I kept a pashmina in my conference tote for the conference rooms that were initially too cool then it could easily be stuffed in my tote when it wasn't needed.

Cold front with rain coming in tonight. We think its cold! I'm still in my layers. You dont need 2 outfits, just a t shirt under your shirt or sweater then a jacket or cardigan.
