I just started using the list feature on my Alexa app. I went grocery shopping and tapped on each bubble as I put them in my cart. Love it! Now all those items show up in the completed section below. I can remove each item one at a time by sliding. But is there a way to remove everything from the completed list all at once?
I can’t remove the list itself as it’s a default list.
But on the other hand, maybe it would be helpful to keep grocery staples in the completed section so I can easily click on them to add them back to the list. Hmmm....
So experienced Alexa listers, what do you do?

I have several lists, one each for place like Costco, Trader Joe’s, Home Depot, etc. I love being able to tell Alexa to add something to a specific list for me. If I wait until I have a minute to write it down, I forget what it was I needed to order. I leave the list there for things like grocery items that I will buy again. It makes setting up your shopping list really fast.
For places like Home Depot where I probably won’t need an item again very soon, I just delete after I buy it. I’ve never had to delete an entire large list. If I did, I suppose I would just delete that specific store.
I’m finding that making lists and setting timers and wake up alarms are my Alexa’s most frequent tasks. It’s fun, isn’t it?

Thanks, that makes lots of sense. I’ll just delete the occasional oddball grocery item. Then I won’t have to retype (or verbally add) each item.

I just use it as a reminder for when I make my real list because I like to separate them into sections of the store. I check them as I write them down then hit delete all chthe died or whatever it is. I LOVE this feature, especially while cooking.

Ok...I finally found the “clear/hide completed list” buttons.

I haven't used Alexa to make grocery lists yet, but my bff does. Every time I go to her house I put something really weird on her list like 42lbs of edible fungus. It took her months to figure out who was doing it.
