We sure like variety!
Gallagher George Carlin Lewis Black Jim Gaffigan Wanda Sykes Howie Mandel Ron White Blue Collar Tour Joan Rivers The Mommies (they were local, so saw them when they were first performing before they hit the big time) Wayne Brady Kathy Griffin Tommy Smothers - he lives here so occasionally he pops up in the audience at comedy shows, most recently with Lewis Black last year and Tommy did some of his yo-yo act for us prior to Lewis's opening act. Janine Garafallo - I believe she opened for someone but can't remember who!

I've seen plenty of comedians over the years but we have a fairly major comedy festival here (this year's starts in 10 days) which makes it pretty easy. Most of the ones I've seen are probably not especially well known outside Australia but I really enjoy Wil Anderson's shows while my DH loves Lano & Woodley.

We’ve been to quite a few local comedy shows and improv.
But last year we went to see Tom Segura. Very funny.

I saw Howie Mandel in the 80s. I also saw Paul Rodriguez in Las Vegas but I don't remember when. I think my sister got free tickets or something because we didn't normally go to shows there.

The only big one I can think of is Carrot Top in Vegas. SO DANG FUNNY!! Otherwise it's just been unknowns in comedy clubs. I'm jealous of some of the big names you guys have seen like Jim Carrey, Joan Rivers, Eddie Murphy and Robin Williams. Carrot Top is the first one that came to mind for me. I have seen quite a few comedians, but CT had me peeing my pants. I also love Brain Regan. He's really clean and cracks me up.

We used to live near Phoenix in the 80s. They had a couple of great comedy clubs. All the comedians we saw were before they hit it big. They were just doing the comedy club circuit.
George Carlin - he was famous at the time Jay Leno Roseanne Barr David Spade Ellen Degenerous Bobcat Goldwait Jerry Seinfeld David Letterman taping of his tv show

Lots of the most popular Australian comedians back in the 80's, but you wouldn't have heard of them. (For any Australians reading: Richard Stubbs, Glen Robbins, Russell Gilbert etc, before they started on their various TV shows.) We used to go to a comedy show almost every Friday night. In fact I just heard one of them on the radio about half an hour ago, he's doing a show tonight. I would love to see him live again.
International acts that I've seen are Billy Connolly and Rohan Atkinson, again way back in the 80s.
My SIL gave DSO and I a season pass to the Comedy Club for Christmas. We haven't been to any shows yet, we must get off our bums and do so.

I saw George Carlin in high school with my boyfriend. My parent must not have known who he was or I'm sure I would t have been able to go.
We've seen Brian Regan with our daughter. I love him. He's just plain funny - even for a, at the time, 12 year old.

many over the years, but the one that stands out the most was Robin Williams. We were at a comedy club in NY and he was a surprise guest. It was the night before they filmed Live from Carnegie Hall. I was in the front row and it was amazing
