I wish the poll would be more of an Excel spreadsheet. I'd love to see how many people owned and how many they wore, but you could own 1 pair or 40 pair and still wear only 1, so the results would be skewed.
For the record, I own about 10 pair of jeans in three sizes. I wear all the jeans I have in the size that I currently am.

I don’t like them. They are like bras - 90% of people are wearing their he wrong size. Not flattering.

I have 6 pairs of plain denim jeans: 2 boot cut (one dark, one medium wash) and 4 pairs of skinnies in various washes.
Now...
Ask me about black jeans, gray jeans, and all the Maurice's jeggings? I have TONS. I wear the Maurice's colored jeggings to work all the time, because they come in tons of colors, are stretchy, and can be worn with boots, flats, whatever. I have tons of colors from navy to plum, brown, gray, olive, forest green, teal... you get the idea. Best work pants ever.

I wear either skinny jeans or thick leggings almost every day. Currently I have 3 pairs of each. Plus yoga pants for the weekend.
The small number is owing to recent weight loss, and I am working on converting my wardrobe over to a very small mix and match collection of items.

Probably about 20? I wear them all - I wear jeans most days. Mostly darker washes, plus some black, some grey, some white, two olive, one pink. Mostly skinnies, some boyfriend. Some distressed, most not. I know bootcut is coming back but it’s never really been a favorite for me and looking back at photos from the last time they were in, I’m fine with passing on them this time around.
I don’t keep clothes that don’t fit. If something is too big or too small, it goes.

I don’t know exactly how many pairs I have because I just threw away the oldest, rattiest ones and bought a few new pairs when Costco had them on sale. I live in jeans just about every day. I don’t have a bunch of sizes though, only two, but they vary in levels of wear. I have my ‘going to the lake to clean or paint’ jeans, my everyday jeans that are fine for running to the store or whatever, and a couple pairs of nicer looking dark wash jeans that I only wear when I have an event to go to at school or something similar and want to look a little bit neater.
I’ve noticed that when I buy jeans in black or a darker wash they don’t fit the same as the standard blue ones even if they’re the same exact style and size, so now I just automatically buy those in the next size up so I don’t feel like a busted can of biscuits when I’m wearing them.

I have two pairs of slim boot cut that I don’t wear much right now. Seven pair of skinny jeans/denim jeggings. I wear them all. I have about five pair of colored jeggings that I never wear. I’m not sure why. I love looking at them, but I think they are just outside of my comfort zone and just overlook them when I am getting dressed.
I wear jeans pretty much every day, no matter the time of year. I have a really hard time finding dresses that look good on me. I don’t see people wearing dresses as much here as what it sounds like some of you do, so maybe we have fewer options?

I own 9 pairs. Two are for horseback riding and yard work. Two are for every day with sneakers/flats. One to wear with cowboy boots. One pair are too big in the waist. And two pair are soft, comfy cozy, faded to almost white that I wear pretty much daily around the house. I also have a black pair to wear when we go out.
I don't keep any clothes that don't fit. The pair I have that are too big in the waist fits well in the butt and I can wear it with a belt.

I only counted the ones I wear. 3 pair, same style, color, size. I live in them until it’s shorts season, then I switch to denim shorts. Love my denim!

I had three pair of Levi's, but they were straight leg and I no longer wore them, so I donated them.
Currently, I have one pair of Levi's. Skinny leg and torn.
I would like another pair... skinny leg and not torn.
I would also like a pair of Levi capri's, in the lighter wash. Lighter is my preference.
I am Levi's snob, won't wear anything else.

I have a dozen. I have them in different styles to match what I want to wear. I am pretty casual and don't think I'll ever stop wearing them.
I just haven't gotten into wearing leggings.

For the longest time, I only had one or two. Now, i have them all. Maybe 30 pairs? Lots of colored skinnies (maybe 8), 3 gray, a couple of white, and the rest in various washes of denim. Some distressed, some not. Some longer, some cropped. Some high-waisted, some destructed hems. All in the correct size, and all purchased within the last 12-18 months.

I own 3, but only one pair fits, so I will throw out the other 2. My body shape does not look good in jeans! Maybe I just haven't found the right brand, but I have no idea where to look. I get my jeans at Target. I hate the tight feeling of jeans, so I only wear them when I go out. I wear capri sweats all day every day at home (own several pair!).

1 pair dark dark dark blue jeans.
The black and dark I can wear to work daily.
1 pair Capri blue jeans
1 pair Capri white jeans
These are only wearable 5 months/year.

Um... Lots? I don't really wear shorts in the summer so I have both long jeans for fall/winter and cropped jeans for spring/summer. In addition to a couple of shades of blue, I have white, black, grey and olive, as well as a dark rust, brown and eggplant because I can get away with those at school. 😊

I own at least a dozen pairs in all shades of blue. I have different lengths and styles, depending on what I am doing. I prefer to wear leggings or skirts, but I need jeans for work sometimes or other occasions.

Hmm... I have jeans from 20 years ago, so in total I have probably over 20 pairs, a few sizes and many styles/cuts. I'm currently looking for more washed out colored jeans, since I have a boho style goin' on. I do have jeggings, boot cut, flair, straight leg, high waist, low waist.......... but when I get in a current "look" then all I want is a few pairs of that style.
(I still have my size 0-4 jeans that I won't get rid of too!)

I wear uniform for work and joggers at home. For most other occasions I wear jeans, all dark blue.
I have:
- 1 current pair.
- 1 pair of skinnies for when those are in the wash.
- 3-ish pairs that either don't fit or are off-season (crop, v thin).
- 1 old, tatty, comfortable pair for gardening.
- 1 ancient, paint-spattered pair for decorating.

I finally realized that I just don't like jeans. I don't like that big metal button pressing into my waist. I don't like the material no matter how much stretch you put in it. I also got tired of the style changes - dark wash, faded, etc. The last ones I bought were jeggings that pulled on my knees. I tried ripping them myself and they looked awful.

I own 6 pairs of Levi jeans 4 dark blue 2 black, either straight leg or skinny.
I also own one pair of stonewashed Levi capris
They all fit and are worn regularly
