Would not mind some with trim around neck or sleeves, but no cold shoulders. Just cant find any that really thrill me, and feel like I have looked everywhere online. Any suggestions?

I just bought a bunch on sale st kohl’s. Used the 30% code. They are probably 1 to 2 season shirts though – – not very heavy fabric. I like scoop neck, a V-neck, not crewneck. They had plenty to choose from. I bought a couple that had the little tied knot at the waist line so that they looked less plain. And then lots of them have stripes and other patterns that are cute.

I stopped buying them because the are too short after about 10 washes. I always hung them to dry but that didn’t make a difference, they still shrunk lengthwise. I get get mine on sale from Lands End.

If they were just long enough when I bought them (lots of shirts are too short in my opinion), I’d end up having to hand wash and hang them to dry and still sometimes deal with shrinking of the length.

I like their long sleeve Dry Tek athletic tees because they’re longer length in the body and don’t shrink nearly as much, but for short sleeve shirts I will only buy Duluth Trading Longtail T’s now. ETA: I have to take that back, I bought a few v-neck Kirkland Signature tees from Costco online last summer and those were comparable to the Duluth T’s.

I like Gap. I just bought a few of their vintage wash v-necks a couple weeks ago. They have crew styles too. Super soft and there is a 40% off coupon right now.

I like shirts from Duluth. They are not necessarily exciting, but since they are long to start with I can dry them and not worry about them being too short.

L.L.Bean. I’ve been getting Pima cotton t-shirts from them for decades ... love them. Lots of different styles and colors. Free shipping. Get on their mailing list and watch for sales.

Yep, mine too. It totally sucks, because Kohl’s has the exact light shade of pink that I like. But no matter how I wash and dry, they shrink up. The tee in my avatar is basically my m o.

I like Maurice's 24/7 tees. Some of the styles work better for my height and shape than others, but I like the fabric and styles.

I was just shopping in the States last week on a road trip and I found nice t-shirts at JC Penny. I usually buy most of mine at Gap

I needed this thread. My go-to for t-shirts (Fred Meyer) switched brands/changed their clothes section and now only sell those paper thin shirts I also have the shrinking Kohl's shirt problem.

Another person who gets all the t-shirts from Duluth. They are extra long and never shrink up and I really do like the length. They have various sleeve lengths-' three-quarter sleeve or short, and the weight of the fabric can be selected--thinner for summer or more for cooler climates.

I get my tank tops there, and the material is excellent. As for t-shirts, I prefer the ones from Madewell, but I like a looser fitting tee with a slightly drapier fabric.

Funny story, I was looking last night at Soft Surrounding, they have such pretty things. Anyway, out of my price range. I went to the online chat to see if they ever had coupons or a % off their clothes. They sent me a code for $20 off, but still cant afford their clothes!

I loved the cutout pants taht are in the current catalog. I found similar ones at Chadwicks and purchased them for about 1/2 of what Soft Surroundings charged.

I used to get my shirt at Fred Meyers too, but since they changed the name of the line to Dip. I can’t support that nonsense just on principle.

I've given up on Kohls t shirts. I bought them for years, always hoping whatever issue they had with shrinking in length would be resolved, but nope. And I baby my clothes, never dried them at all. And it seems like not only do they shrink in length, but they seem to lose their shape width-wise.
I recently purchased some t shirts from Land's End when they were 40% off, and so far, I love them. They are a good length and the fabric is nice, too. I'm going to watch for another sale so I can purchase some more.

Kohl's Apt 9 brand and Old Navy. I prefer Old Navy as they are thicker and wash up better

I was going to come back in here and say the same thing about the Kohl’s shirts, not only do they shrink in the length but they stretch out in the width so they’re 1.5 times wider and 1/3 shorter, ugh. Not a good look at all. I used to keep my old ones to sleep in but I’ve even given up on that. I don’t have time to mess around with hanging everything up to dry. It has to be easy care to live in this house!

sharlag have you had problems with Kohls shirts shrinking in length? I havent gotten any shirts there in a long time because of this. Because I’m tall I get most of my clothes at Eddie Bauer and Old Navy since they both carry talls online. They are usually just basic tees. But I have gotten a couple of the bottom knot tees that are long enough for me at TJ Maxx. I’ve also learned to wash my clothes on delicate and hang dry them or dry them on delicate so they don’t shrink up as much. My sister is 5’ 11” and does not like shopping online for talls so she’s learned how to make brick and mortar stores work for her.

I am avid fan of the Eddie Bauer tee-shirts. I wear the long sleeve in the winter and short sleeve in the summer. I like the v-neck but they also have the scoop neck.
They are regularly around 30.00 but often have them 50% off or sales where they are 10.00. That is when I stock up.
Good luck finding a tee shirt you like.
ETA - they are 50% off now with the online code SUNRISE50
