I have been a life-long Pirate fan. My mother still follows them and her mother was a fan too. This will be my first season as a local though. I am looking forward to it. I am going to the Home Opener on Monday. My guy and I each got each other tickets for Christmas without even talking about it prior to that. We sold our extra set.
The Pirate's ownership is notoriously cheap so they aren't expected to do much but I still have hope. Small market teams can do it but it doesn't happen that often.
Good luck to your team this season.

Toronto Blue Jays!!! I have been a fan since their first opening day in 1978.
Not sure how this year is going to go as there is a lot of unknowns on the team and a lot of injuries from spring training. Hopefully our young guys play more in the bigs than AAA.
I am leaving work early so I can catch the first pitch. We are celebrating with the best pizza in town for dinner.

I enjoy going to games but don’t really have a favorite. I’m a Texas girl and DH is from Dallas area and loves the Rangers so if I had to pick it would be them. I do love the Ballpark in Arlington and hate that it is being replaced. We are going to Colorado this summer and hoping to take in a Rockies game.
Grew up following college ball and the Longhorns were our favorite, of course. We used to go to the College World Series every summer and if the game wasn’t on Tv I’d listen on the radio. Taking my brother to Disch-Falk field to see the Aggies next week and am very excited about that!

My family was from the Pittsburgh area so we were Pirates fans. Since marrying DH 34 years ago, I became a Giant's fan. I don't expect much out of them this year. Love that meme! Come back to the Pirates!

Pirate fans still haven't recovered from the Braves breaking their hearts in 1992. Good luck to your team this year though.

I'm a Maryland girl through and through so it's the Orioles for me. Bummer though, our first six games are on the road against the Yankees and Blue Jays. I'm hoping those games don't define the season for my birds.

I love the Orioles, but they haven't loved winning for a while. Still any chance I get to go to the most beautiful ballpark in America, Camden Yards, and watch a game is a good day.

Of course I root for the 1st major league team Cincinnati Reds! We are celebrating 150 years, watching the 100th Findlay Market Parade on television right now. Johnny Bench the greatest catcher ever and the commissioner Rob Manfred are the Grand Marshall.

I'm not much into baseball although I like going to games once and awhile... But my hometown is the Colorado Rockies and my other team is the KC Royals. I do have tickets for one game this season Rockies/Dodgers.. so looking forward to that. Probably be the only game I see.. HAHA unless we go to the playoffs.. then I might tune back in.

Let’s go Nats! I have friends there for opening day today and I am beyond jealous! 😁
Cubs are my 2nd fav. Beyond those two teams I don’t pay too much attention to the sport.
I love going to baseball games though. If here’s an opportunity to go see a pro ball game and experience their stadium, I am there. Don’t care whose playing. 😁

Die hard Dodger fan here! Go Blue!
When we got the Spectrum Dodger channel, it enabled us to see almost every single game. We attend 3-4 games a year (expensive + hassle of getting in and out of the park). Between the two I've missed only a handful of games in the past three years. This year we went to Camelback to catch a spring training game, it was a lot of fun.

Yankees. I’m looking forward to this year. I’m liking watching this team get a bit younger and more energetic. It’s also been nice the last few off seasons, that with the exception of taking on Giancarlo Stanton’s contract, it’s not the Yankees that are spending crazy amounts of money on free agents. 😅 It’s a nice change.

Just changed my avatar to root for the Royals!
My DH won tickets to an exhibition game between the Royals and their AAA team and we went Monday night (5 hour drive each way - ugh). It was great, we got to see two squads or Royals plus 2 squads of AAA, so probably all of their 40-man roster. Missed Salvie, though. It'll definitely be a rebuilding year for us.

The Tigers are our home team - the MLB keeps trying to create a rivalry between Detroit and Pittsburgh, but honestly, no one in Detroit cares about Pittsburgh and I'm sure they feel the same way.
The team of my heart is the Cubs. They were FIL's team (along with the Tigers). He passed away before they won the World Series, but he has a "W" flag hanging with his memorial flag and shadow box in our living room
