Looks really inefficient to me, on top of being expensive There's a bunch of wasted space behind each ink pad, plus just one marker per shelf. Also feels like something designed to make you want to buy all the matching products. I'd pass.

Yes, it's pricey. I thought the same thing about the CTMH stamp and marker storage.
However, they are custom made to fit their own particular stamp pads, which is probably at least part of the reason they cost so much.
I have a fairly extensive collection of stamp pads. I have no loyalty to any one company, although recently I have been using mostly Momento. I also have a lot of CTMH. I have one by SU, and a handful of Ranger ink pads. The color and type of ink matters more to me than the brand.
My stamp pads of the various brands are stacked on a shelf in my desk and in a drawer. It's not that difficult to pull a stamp pad out of the stack (and there are multiple stacks of stamp pads lined up on my shelf).
I'm willing to spend money on things I feel are worth it (such as my electronic cutters), but storage for stamp pads isn't worth the money to me. The cost can add up quickly.

I do like the look of it, and to be able to customize and have everything within easy reach is a plus, but at $14 for five trays its too pricey for me.

In theory its great. But I think it would sell better and your market would be bigger if it suited other ink pads. It is pricey.. Its $19 Cdn.
How many colours are there right now for SU? I'm sure you looking at least at a $100 to be able to house all your inks and stuff. That is a lot for a desk top storage unit.

The only advantage seems to be the that it's modular. You can get sturdier storage, even sized for certain brands, for less, in the long run.

I like the idea but with all the different stamp pad sizes and styles it’s not for me. I think it’s awesome for demos and people that use a lot of SU stamps and such.

I have two large Stamp N Storage ink pad holders for my SU, MFT, PTI and other brand full sized pads. I have 2 of the Distress Ink Pad holders for most of my Distress and Distress Oxide pads. I don't have the SU markers so having a spot for them next to the ink pad would not be important to me. The Stamp N Storage holders are so sturdy and will last a lifetime. I'm not so sure about the SU ones.

I already have a lot of Stamp-N-Storage stuff, so I don't need the ink pad holders. I have been looking for alcohol marker storage for eons now, though, so I am going to buy 2 of the marker storage units with a tray for the top - that will cost about $45 CDN. All of the storage options I've looked at for these markers are even more expensive than this or unavailable in Canada, so I think it's safe to try it, and I also wanted storage that separated each marker rather than having a colour group on a single shelf, for instance.

I took the plunge and bought the open SU storage to see if it would work for my Gina K pads. I was able to fit 5 pads. The top doesn’t fit well, like if it got bumped it would fall off. I would not recommend them, it’s a poor design IMO
