So I miss October Afternoon so much...I am in MN, and used to always shop the warehouse sale, plus after Archiver's closed they opened up a litte October Afternoon store in Apple Valley, MN. I'd pop in there once a week or so. Then one day it was just...gone. Anyway, I saw a thread on here about OA and thought, yay! Are they back? Nope, but in one post it said that one of the OA designers was working on Carta Bella. So I went to check them out-well, thanks for breaking my bank, lol. 60 bucks later I have a shipment coming next Tuesday, AND I ordered a bunch of stuff off Ebay that I had not seen and was no longer being sold in traditional stores, yay! Oh and then I found the dog line...uh oh. www.google.com/search?q=great+outdoors+carta+bella&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS731US731&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=gVqUdfCKh8JjZM%253A%252CDPz7CO0cLLM3WM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kSSPdxCG6Mkhn6qPPqTZYmPngfDBQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj4kKGH67bhAhVlw4MKHe5hBAoQ9QEwBnoECAgQDA#imgrc=gVqUdfCKh8JjZM:

I love the OA style and I'm still hoarding what little I have left. I saw The Great Outdoors paper pad at TM yesterday.

I'm from MN too and really miss October Afternoon. Probably moreso than any other company. The owners were horrible people but man could they design great papers. I hoard every scrap.

I used to LOVE OA. They were my hands down favorite and probably have 4 inches of paper from them still. I find them hard to work with now. The reason? All the cream vs white. Drives me bonkers now!

I didn't get into OA when it was around. Of course it takes me forever to like something and then the company no longer exists.

stevenduncandesigner is the best! So glad he's with Carta Bella. I too still love OA but like mom I find it hard to work with the cream intermixed with my love of white in my PL. I have plans to use all the OA I have though for a few specific smaller albums and for card-making.

I used to way overbuy at the warehouse sale. I looked forward to it every year.
I have a pretty good stash. I plan to use it for scrapbooking some older photos when I retire and have more time.
