Because accurate information is empowering and reassuring I thought that I'd look up how Ebola is spread. Like many of you I've been following this outbreak on the news. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so I was VERY concerned when a man in Dallas was diagnosed. ETA: Apparently, I can't simply insert the video into this thread. That's what I was thinking. I asked someone in the health care field and she told me that it's spread very similarly to AIDS/HIV. Which means that the average American doesn't need to be concerned about contracting it.
What is so concerning about Ebola is how quickly one can die from the onset of symptoms.
