I’m looking for under my desk cart/shelf organizers and there’s one that’s exactly what I want but thier space is only 11.4” high. There’s plenty of room to have the extra inch IF it was designed that way. But the body is metal and I don’t see how I could fudge it anywhere. www.amazon.com/Home-Office-Mobile-Serving-Brown/dp/B07KZP64VQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_32?keywords=printer+cart&qid=1555252153&s=gateway&sr=8-32It’s short enough to roll under the top of the long support bar under my old ikea corner desk. The top is perfect to fit my cutter & maybe even the sidekick. I love that it has a drawer. But I’d really like the bottom to be 12.4” high I’m putting on my wish list for now anyway. I’d also prefer not dark brown, but that wouldn’t stop me from ordering it.

Can you use risers to lift your desk?

Can you use risers to lift your desk? oh , no the total height is fine. The inch is lacking between the bottom shelf & the drawer. It’s only 11.4” from the lower shelf to the drawer. Where as 15.4 would be great. The total height is only 24”, which is well below the cross bar of the desk, which is 27.5”. But if I had to I could raise my desk but it’s at a comfortable height right now.

Hop2, I have been thinking about purchasing this storage cart. I have a few of the Michael's 12x12 storage cubes filled with paper, but thought I would use the Advantus Paper Holders and put them in this cart. The cart should hold quit a few of the Advantus paper Holders. This area does not have an Ikea store, so the Kallex is out. I think it was around $200 shipping to ship the Kallex to my house. Anyway, this cart would fit under a desk, probably depends on what is stored on the top shelf.

bluecrafterperson that cart is interesting. And it would fit. No drawer though. It’s just the one I saw is ‘almost’ perfect. Lol I might get it anyway and store my paper in my office cabinet that way it won’t get faded from light. But the cart you posted is also interesting. I have so much to store & with a corner desk so much room under the desk. It’s pretty convenient to slide my chair back & get something from under the desk but the giant packing boxes are not working any longer lol

Replace the wheels with furniture sliders. Most hardware stores carry them.

Replace the wheels with furniture sliders. Most hardware stores carry them. Unfortunately that won’t increase the space between the bottom shelf & the drawer.

Can you remove the drawer part and raise it and reattach? Is this a DYI assembly? Are the drawer rails attached to the frame?

I could just pull it out, not crawl under my desk! I'm going to measure tonight.
