Elsabelle, you are so sweet! You make strawberry shortcake on a whim for a friend in need, you can definitely be my friend. I'm sure your friend and DH both appreciate you so much. crystalb, you are lucky to have that hair. And that it grows so long. Mine sort of stops once it gets to just below the shoulders. Good for you for making an effort to get into your scrapbooks. Love the sunray with the heart in the middle on Sweet Selfies, very creative and pretty. ROFL at ALL YOU NEED IS WIFI. So true. So true. I love you (Pizza) your tags are so funny. That boy is such a cutie. Love the selfies. Linda, I left you love on the SS thread, but I love the colors and design of this layout so much that I’ll tell you here too. I also love the spring dresses and that everyone is outside on green grass without heavy winter coats. So it’s not a typical for me Easter and I can’t get enough of it. joblackford, lol I totally went to a dirty place. Hope you are enjoying your bit of sunshine. Linda, kids were my background noise during the day today. Now they are all upstairs in my bedroom watching a movie with DH. As soon as he got home today, I said “next crop, I’m going to the farm by myself.” I so am too. myboysnme, I’m so glad you are joining in. SQUEAL!! Baby pictures!!! Yay! I love your first Happy Easter page with the double matting and the ragged edges on the left side. Gorgeous! AND baby!! Avenger in training: Where did they find that onesie??? The page is totally amazing and MCU worthy. Rough & Tough: Beautiful layout. She is going to love her album. LavenderLayoutLady, the what ifs are why I put on sweats and a sweatshirt this morning. Still comfy enough, but not jeans. Sounds like you are making progress on your page. dasmith2, great inspiration and I love your layout already! hop2, your card is gorgeous as is if you ask me. I love that owl and the juxtaposition of the yellow on black journal strips against the die cut cursive journey. I get the desire to use it since you bought it, but seriously the card is perfect. teacherlisa, yes, share in both places and chat over here. jeremysgirl, I haven’t even checked out Chinagirl828’s monthly challenges. I’m so off my game this week. LOL. Love your Smile Big layout but especially tickled by the journaling. I could seriously just swap out a photo of my dog and keep everything the same. Do you have your wine? craftymom101, I’m sorry that your plans got rearranged on you. I hope you can enjoy some time here. And your pool time tomorrow. We’re still waiting for pool weather. Chinagirl828, paper scrap page kits sounds genius! msliz, you crack me up – “shrunken head”. I’m sure you look super cute and it’s just your perspective of yourself. I know I’m guilty of it as well. hop2 and jeremysgirl, I think that’s a fair deal. I wanted to bring my silhouette back to the new home but didn’t have room. I’m doing digital anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter. Dinner is over. I made a panko crusted chicken breast with maple-mustard sauce, roasted sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts and our fresh find of morels. With that I decided I should also enjoy a glass of wine. Unfortunately it took some time to prepare and then I had computer issues. Because your computer behaves all the time until you are excited to be on it apparently. I’ve caught up here and now I’m going to finish that double layout that was almost complete when I went off.

When you are creating what are you wearing? At a crop I am usually in a nice pair of capris or shorts and a cotton top. I've never been one for t-shirts with sayings or designs on them (though DH keeps giving me them for gifts lately???) Tonight I'm still in my pants and tunic I wore out, but will be changing to pjs very shortly. Have gotten all the senior photos pulled and mostly sorted. I haven't touched that album in at least 2 years so I'm having to get reacquainted with it and where I left off. Now that DH has moved to his office I'm ready to start...only to have DD volunteer to bring me some Chick-Fil-A. Seems she decided to go there for dinner after a bad week at work - and the closet CFA is a block from my house. I'll put her to work identifying who some of the kids are in the photos for my journaling! How late does everyone stay up cropping usually? ETA: Another question for chatting: What do you have for noise in the background while you create? I prefer quiet when I crop. I don't mind a little soft music in the background, but quiet works best for me. I have never gotten much done at crops because of the noise - and I love to chat with everyone.

Alright Peas I am turning in for the night. My desk is all cleaned off ready for an early start tomorrow morning (my sweet monsters are up by 630/7 no matter what).
Thank you for joining me today and letting me be your hostess today! I have loved seeing all your creations! Remember I still have 2 gift cards up for grabs! One for the DIY kit and one for anything uploaded by midnight EST Today (Friday)! Thank you for hanging with me today, I can't wait to chat/create more tomorrow!
I will leave you with this one last chat question:
Are you a clean as you go person or only clean up at the end? Do you have to have a clean work surface to get started or can you create anywhere?

LisaDV, your dinner sounds delicious! We had shrimp tacos and Mexican rice. A few pages back I saw a question about what we listen to as we scrap. I listen to podcasts. Specifically, true crime podcasts. I’m up to date on all of them, though. Except I just subscribed to Dr. phil’s new true crime podcast. I’m just not sure I’m in the mood to listen to Dr Phil for the next hour or two. My family has got me watching Live PD instead of scrapping right now. Tomorrow will be my day. Or else. 😄

**GypsyGirl**, how fun that your dd is bringing you CFA. If I was in a separate location from dh & the kids and not having to be responsible at all, I’d stay up until 1am or so. Currently it is 10pm and I’ll probably be going to be soon. crystalb, goodnight! Thanks for hosting today. Elsabelle, your dinner sounds delicious too! Yummy! Enjoy your time with your family. Linda, you’re so good to clean up after each layout. I'll be signing off for tonight. Goodnight.

I’m almost finished with my first page! I pulled out my kit but I did add a couple things from my stash.
When I was putting my kit together I found a box labeled “studio calico grab bags”. Omg you guys... it is a letter size box stuffed with SC embellishments! I have no idea when I got these grab bags but I have a ton of embellishments to use! Do you think this is a sign that I have too much stuff?!

Wow, some great creating going on here. I substituted today, and went through 9 old Creating Keepsakes magazines in the really good classes (3). Save the pages and cut out the layouts and sketches I think I would use. Funnily enough I saw paper that I have in my stash in magazines that are from 2002/2003 So does that count as organizing? I think it does! It been such a crazy week for me with DH gone for work, and having to deal with our irrigation pond by myself. Fortunately the install will happen next Thursday morning and I can start filling it and then water my 4 acres of pasture! Steer coming soon! My craft room project is almost done, I know I keep saying that, but tonight I am just too tired to be creative. DH's flight has been delayed by 90 minutes so I can't even pick him up until 9:30 So more cleaning it is! My fan, oh my goodness, so glad I put an old sheet over everything before having at it. Now on to the last set of shelves. They are old (at least 16-17 years) Sterlite three drawer sets in four sizes. My original method of storing crafting stuff. They've held up well and have made three moves so I can't complain. I am in the "If it isn't broken and still works, then keep on using it!" The only way I see them being replaced is if DH and I build a retirement home and I custom build cabinets, but yeah that's not happening anytime soon! LOL! Photos soon ladies, I promise. Before taken on 4/2/19. I want to move some of my art work around and have DH put up the one new shelf he has been painting with epoxy that my frequently used tools will be housed on under a window.

Wow! So much creativity! Hope to look at everything in detail in the next day or two.
I got myself and my stuff to the LSS crop today. Got settled in and ended up finishing 8 pages, all about Easter. I have one more two pager to do with my Easter supplies, but that will need to wait until tomorrow.

Happy NSD everyone!! I just finished a layout and will be heading to bed soon. I’m looking forward to scrapping with you all when I wake up!! Our kitty is doing okay, he’s resting comfortably and purring(when he wants lol) . He had a blocked bladder we’re very grateful we brought him in today. It’s definitely been a long day.

Scrapping attire for me is usually pj pants lol I love funny T-shirt’s but I don’t have any scrappy ones. I have SO. MANY. fun scrapbooking tees from the "good ole days" when I scrapbooked ALL. THE. TIME. I've even got LAYOUTS about mine / my friends' and my scrapbooking shirts Hmmm...maybe if I put one on tomorrow (complete with comfy pj pants!), I'll be even MORE inspired!

Are you a clean as you go person or only clean up at the end? Do you have to have a clean work surface to get started or can you create anywhere? Oh I'm definitely a clean as I go kind of person. I put things like alphas and sticker sheets back in the packaging or back into my storage once I've used it/decided I'm not going to use it. I see photos posted of crazy piles of supplies and my poor brain starts to fry.

Good morning everyone! I got up way too early but I’ll probably nap today lol. Love love seeing everyone’s pages so far! Way to go!!
What pages/projects/things do you have planned for today?
I just finished up a page, so I’ll need to do a quick clean up before I start the day. My last page took a while so I think I’ll try a couple of quick pages today and see what happens.
I will be on throughout the day to chat. It’s raining out again and a day inside scrapping sounds pretty perfect for today!

Good morning everyone! I got up way too early but I’ll probably nap today lol. Love love seeing everyone’s pages so far! Way to go!! What pages/projects/things do you have planned for today? Well, I have 2 more ‘kits’ that I made up. The first one worked out well I used everything I set out for it. The process was somewhat quicker because everything was picked but the time had already been spent. I do see the benefit of the setting a kit aside when you want to do something but your maybe to tired to scrap. Today I’m going to plow ahead on my DD’s travel album starting with the 2 page kits and we will see where I go from there. Oh & a birthday card for my nieces husband

Are you a clean as you go person or only clean up at the end? Do you have to have a clean work surface to get started or can you create anywhere? I am a partially clean as I go person, but I can create anywhere. I just don't. My home layouts were done on a large hassock/foot stool with a magazine as the hard scrap surface. But that is not my preferred way, haha! Just my 'participate in this crop' way.

Good morning ladies! It’s 8am here. And I’ll be leaving to go see End Game – Finally. Of course, now I’m like 9AM I don’t want popcorn at 9AM, but it’s the movies..??!!.. The struggle is real. But before I go, I’m going to get caught up on the goings on I missed trying to sleep. teacherlisa , wonderful lunch date page. Love the heart row. Text Messages: What wonderful people you work with. I love that you captured these. The blue-gray is a great offset color to these. Date Night: Lovely again. I like that you pen inked around your edges. craftymom101 , no, I do not think you have too much stuff, but I like lots of stuff and lots of possibilities. I’m not a purger. Enjoy the pool today!! angel97701 , going through your CK mags and saving the pages and culling out definitely counts as organizing. I can’t wait to see your finished room. It sounds fabulous. You’ve done so much cleaning and organizing over the last month. You move way faster than I do when it comes to getting it done. hop2 , So Cute. I love the multicolored hearts and that tag. Linda , how adorable. I love the photo (that cute outfit) and the page. grammadee , wow! 8 pages. You are on a roll! dasmith2 , glad kitty is doing better. Poor guy! And that page is just WOW! All the layers in the clusters – just amazing! I’m hoping to do some quick pages as well today. I spent way too much time being distracted yesterday. I also need to get my orders for iNSD sales in today. scrappintoee , so glad you’re coming to join us! Will you be working on the album for your great niece? Chinagirl828 , I am the crazy piles of supplies girl. I will work like that until I can’t work any longer then I’ll clean everything up and start fresh again. But during a creative frenzy, those piles grow quite large and it could last for weeks. myboysnme, wow! you really can create anywhere. I cannot. I need my space for paper crafting. Heck, I even want my space for digital. Alright ladies, I’m off to my movie! I’ll be back later.

teacherlisa lovely layouts. I love your penwork on all of them! Thank you for sharing.
craftymom101 nope not a sign you have too much...a sign of a new found treasure without any spending! YAY! (like my thinking?)
angel97701 I hope your DHs flight didn't get delayed again. It is no fun when that happens. I hope you got closer to being finished in your room! I say if you still love that paper it is ok!
hop2 I love that layout, some of my favorite colors. Glad the kit way is working for you!
linda look at your go! WOOHOO!
dasmith2 that layout is STUNNING! I love it! Glad kitty is doing ok!
Chinagirl828 I have to have a clean space too. I clean as I go to. If everything is not in its place I can't create.
myboysnme I am glad you are playing even if it is not your preferred way!
LisaDV have fun at your movies but no spoilers! I don't get to go see it until next week! I am so excited!
I have been up since 0500, ugh! I have one layout done and breakfast made/cleaned up. DH is taking care of the kiddos today (he is super awesome) so I can create. I already showered and put on comfy comfy jammies so that is nice.
I am a clean as I go person so my desk is all cleaned off again, time to make a nother one!

I woke up before 6 even though DH's flight didn't arrive until after 9:30. So much for an 8:05 arrival. DH wants to see end game today too LisaDV , I asked him if we might go tomorrow? My feelings are a little hurt too, I feel like I got a lot done on my own around our 6 acres, 4 dogs, 13 chickens, and 13 year old son that had an activity every day after school. But DH asked about 3 three things that didn't get done. I only have so many hours in the day! I also subbed a day & half while he was gone. Sorry, just needed a little vent. So I'm checking in here and then headed over to my desk to scrap! Yeah, hope creative juices start flowing!

The same thing happened to me last weekend - but it was Studio Calico stamps. It was definitely an "uh oh" moment for me - I'm kind of thinking I need to use what I have and not buy more. Having said that, I just bought some HipKitClub kits. I'm weak.
