I eat a lot of zucchini. But mostly cooked. I now spiralize zucchini for salads and as pasta. At first, raw zucchini in salads seemed odd to me because growing up it was always cooked.

I never eat raw zucchini. I also don’t like it so that’s how I voted 😄

I love raw zucchini. It’s one of my favourite snacks. I prefer it to cucumber. I like it sliced into planks and then salted as I eat it.
(But that is only zucchini. Summer squash is something different and I’ve only ever cooked it).

I always eat it either grilled or spiralized as pasta. It never occurred to me to eat it raw.

I mostly cook it, but if I’m having it in a salad, it’s raw. I’m allergic to cucumbers, so anything that calls for cucumber, I substitute raw zucchini.

Summer squash is something different and I’ve only ever cooked it ![]() Zucchini is a form of summer squash. Are you referring to yellow squash? There are so many forms.

I'm truly half & half on this question. I didn't eat zucchini raw until we started spiralizing it. The family can devour a big bowl of spiralized raw zucchini salad and turn their noses up at it cooked in our house.
In the winter I make stuffed zucchini boats, but don't precook them as most recipes suggest. They do get heated through in the oven when stuffed but are not soft at all.
I don't mind chopped zucchini in a pasta dish.

Both. I have zoodles a lot and don’t cook them. I also will chop some raw into salads. But I also like to grill or roast it. I generally don’t like it sautéed, though.

I don't like most green veggies cooked. I just like them waved over a fire and still crisp. I eat a lot of zucchini raw in salads.

I prefer it raw. It can be too mushy when cooked, although I have had some really good deep-fried zucchini! 😄

I've never tried it raw, but I LOVE it cooked so I must give it a go sometime. I'm not a salad fan in general so raw veggies don't usually do much for me.

I only eat it raw. It gets too mushy for me when cooked. Plus, I like it raw, which is healthier anyway.

I'm pretty good adding veggies to whatever I'm cooking. Zucchini and yellow summer squash are two of those veggies I add a lot I love adding them to scrambled eggs or pasta dishes.

Cooked. Courgette fritters, mmmm : : The yellow summer squash we especially love lightly fried in a little olive oil with garlic, and mint, parsley, and lemon juice tossed in at the end.

I love raw zucchini raw and eat it primarily in salads. I rarely have it cooked but if I do it's mixed in with other stir-fry veggies.

I really, really prefer to cook all of my vegetables. I just don’t like chewing raw veggies. I will even ignore small pieces of pepper in my salad.

I've had both but prefer cooked. When I make zucchini noodles I usually lightly saute them.

Cooked.
I'd never even heard of eating it raw until I read some raw food blogs, but I just thought they must be hungry and they'll eat anything.

It’s a food that I grew up believing that it was poisonous to eat raw.
So it is hard for me to try it raw.

I love it cooked and could eat it every day. Raw...never. I don’t know why, but, I think it is the spongy/squeaky texture of it raw.

Both. I'm not a great fan of cooked zucchini but will eat it in a frittata or similar. If I'm doing a plate of crudités or having a snack with dip then I'll add raw zucchini sticks.

I love zucchini and yellow squash. I’ve never thought of eating it raw. I will have to put some in a salad next time I make one.
