Does anyone still follow the Scrap Gals? I do still follow Tiffany on IG and saw recently they are offering a #lifestories thing for 2021. It just seems weird for Tiffany to basically carry the ball for this partnership. I don’t sub to their podcast so I don’t know what Tracie is contributing. Tracie says she is going to participate, but I don't know that she actually has or hasn't. But it entirely seems to be Tiffany's responsibility. Im blocked from their FB group (which is bullshit) so I can't say as to what she's doing over there. But on the podcast, I definitely feel like Tiffany is doing the heavy lifting. |

I sub too-not because I can stand Tracie, but I like Tiffany and I love podcasts. The pool is shallow with scrapbooking podcasts. I don't like to listen to Becky Higgins and her partner Becky Proudfit. I can't stand Scrap Happier or Ten Minutes in Scrapbooking. I like Life Handmade and Scrapbook Your Way. They are not my favorites, but most of the time I can tolerate them. I really like The Scrappy Sisters but it is new and I'm not sure they are really in it for the long haul. They seem to have a lot of irons in the fire.
Tiffany does the majority of the creative work. I think Tracie does the technical stuff. They started this thing where they are going to have prompts and make pages from different perspectives. It is for sure Tiffany coming up with it. My guess is that Tracie will have some excuse about why she doesn't have a layout to share. I haven't figured out if she knows she doesn't scrapbook anymore and tries to keep up the front, or if she doesn't know she's faking it and still believes she's a scrapbooker. She is pretty delusional with her work ethic. Last month she painted her house and that was basically all she could talk about and all she could accomplish. I mean, yes, painting is a large task, but lots of people do this while working or raising kids. She literally could do nothing else.
I am close to canceling, but I have a long commute and need stuff to listen to.

I'm sad Amanda is stepping away from Crafty Ass Female podcast. I like her enthusiasm. I'm sure Kristin will do a great job, but I enjoyed the two of them together.

I absolutely could not get through even the first episode of Crafty Ass Females podcast when it was new. Drove me NUTS. Just no. I don't follow either of them on IG either. As far as The Scrap Gals go I'm in the same boat as crafty and mom. I wish Tiffany would break free because I really enjoy her. Her and Tracie are night and day in personalities. |

I cancelled my subscription to their podcast when they decided to switch platforms a couple of months ago. I subscribed for Tiffany. I too wish she would go on her own. I don't think that will happen as I think Tracie and her husband do the "tech" stuff for the podcast. I am thinking about re-subscribing simply because there aren't very many options for "scrappy" podcasts.

I used to listen to Tiffany and Tracie before they went to a paid subscription. It was nice just to hear craft chatter. I have not pursued them since they decided to charge. I was one of the suckers who donated when it was still free and I felt it to be a slap in the face to have to give them more money . And I could not justify it. There are so many things on YouTube and elsewhere that are more informative.

For me, CAF’s content constantly gets away from talking about scrapbooking and talks too much about self-improvement, self-discovery, self acceptance... all topics I love hearing about but there are far better podcasts with actual therapist and professionals who I’d rather take advice from. If they would stick to talking about creating I might be able to get through an episode.
I still really enjoy the Scrap Gals podcast. I get consistent scrappy content covering topics I am interested in. I was pretty frustrated with their former platform, but now that I can listen with the Apple Podcast app, it’s easier to get to episodes.

I stopped listening to craft ass females a while back. I mostly liked it but they were so intense which wasn’t my cup of tea. Why is Amanda leaving?
I like the other podcasts mentioned although I don’t listen to any of them consistently. I dropped scrap gals long before the pacemaker situation - it started out great and I felt like I was listening two friends talking but it strayed from that and again not a fan.

I could hear every sound their lips made, every breath they exhaled, and every time they opened their mouths. It was actually quite gross listening to them, and I didn't even make it through the first episode either. |
