I have an amazing collection of photos from a recent two week trip to Europe and am itching to get lots of them printed. The thing is that I DREAD the ordering process. I usually use Snapfish & order at least 100 prints at a time. It feels like it takes FOREVER. Anybody gave any tips for me on hating the process less? Thanks in advance!

Do it in steps. Select the photos (that always takes the longest for me) Then later plan something non computer related to do once you start the down load. While you *can* web surf or read boards it does divide your computer's resources so things slow down. If I have something set up that is interesting to do while the download is in progress it is easier to wait for it.

I use persnickety. No matter the processor, it's my least favorite thing to do, so sorry, I probably don't have any tips.

No tips in your particular situation since you have so many all at once. My general approach is to upload photos right after an event. Then I go in and place large orders for prints when there is a sale or right before I head off to a crop.

Like voltagain says, do it in stages. I usually take the longest time selecting photos so I set up a new album or folder and do that first. That might easily take one or two evenings, depending on the number. Then I start the uploading process and find something else to look at/listen to while that's going on. Maybe a podcast? I have a pretty slow internet conncection so it can be ag.on.is.ing but with something to distract me it's usually ok.

Once or twice I had a Costco coupon for 100 free prints. It took me forever to get that many chosen and ready to print. I would go nuts if I had to do it that way all the time,
Since I get my prints done at Costco, and they are close by, I just print small batches. So much easier. Essentially it's the same as doing a large batch in stages, without immediate gratification.
Definitely take it in steps. It will be worth it, I am sure, to see all those wonderful photos of your trip!
