Not sure yet how we will be running the Team Challenges over the months of June, July and August. Thought I would ask for input so we can best meet everyone's needs.
We could keep right on doing what we have been doing: set up new teams and ask for new challenges each month.
We could do two of the months and take a short one month long holiday. Not sure which month would be the best break for most people.
We could lump two--or even all three--of the months together. Have one sign up for the grouped months, one chance to add new challenges. Your points would carry over until the end of the 2nd or 3rd month, depending on how long that challenge is set up to last. Again, I am open to suggestions as to how this would work: which months to group together...

Looking specifically at MY summer? I'll probably have scrapbook time in June but with DS coming home on leave in July (into early Aug), we'll be focusing on making memories not scrapping them and I'll probably be on hiatus from the challenges until the very end of August after he leaves and the girls both go back to school.

I'm also good with whatever everyone decides but I voted for keep them monthly. Although I know I've taken a break over the last few months I plan on coming back to the teams when I return from my vacation. Aside from that it's winter for me which is when I do most of my scrapping.

Whatever works for the majority. I am hoping to get some scrapping done this summer, but also want to have time to do some sewing with the granddaughters.

I'm good with whatever...but I did vote to keep it as is.
I find the fresh start to a month with new challenges helps pick up my mojo again.

My preference is to keep it the same with new teams and new challenges every month. People can still do as much or as little as they like. My second preference is to run the same challenges over two months (not three!). I do NOT want to skip a month. Thanks for asking grammadee.  |

June is coming up fast, and our team leaders have agreed to take on new teams for the next month. And we have leaders for July and August. I voted from keeping it the same. I keep missing signing up for teams because of crazy schedules and the one month I did, there was just too much going on to keep up. But with summer I will actually have a slower pace and I'd love to join in again. I've been scrapping, but I need some inspiration and a kick in my butt to get going more!

One idea I did not see in the poll but might be interesting was to have the same two teams and same challenges that last the full three months. I’m not sure if that puts too much on one or two people... and I sure wouldn’t want to do that... but it might be helpful for people to know they can come/go all summer... rather than be tied to a shorter deadline.

I'm not sure I have the energy to keep up with points and challenges (Cardtober was exhausting!) but I'll consider it. It might be better use of my time here than scrolling the Other People's Drama threads! : P I'll take a look around, but I'm OK with whatever if I do join in. Summer isn't particularly different for me than any other time.

I'm the lone vote to combine the months. Summer is very, very, very busy for our family. I have enough trouble keeping up with monthly challenges as it is. During the summer the only time I'll have for scrapping is at the monthly crops I attend.

I think July and August could work being run as summer teams/challenges.
When I participate again it will probably just be to share.

Thanks for tagging me, grammadee. I’ve given challenges a few tries, but find I’d rather stick with my own game plan with the layouts that live in my head. I love popping in though to see everyone’s creations. It looks like you’re always having a good time. |

Thanks for tagging me and for taking this on, grammadee. I love the challenges and love looking at everyone’s beautiful pages but find the point part of it to be a bit of a bother. I won’t say I wouldn’t come back and join in the challenges again at some point but don’t plan to for the summer so I didn’t vote. |

Thanks for the tag grammadee! I've been away from the boards as I was sick, we had company from out-of-state, and I worked a few days last week. Finally have something crafty on my desk! I voted for all three months together because that way we can check in and out on the same challenges? |
