Do you put anything on the back of your cards.
I have stamp that has a flourish type circle with the words handmade by inside and there is room for me to write my name. I do have to write quite small though.
I'm thinking of getting a custom made stamp with my name as part of it. That would be quicker and neater.
What do you do.

Yes. I have had 3 different stamps: my name in English and Chinese characters (because I was living in the Far East at the time), my name and squirrel, which has worn out. The latest one just has my name and e-mail address on it. I stamp the backs of all my cards.

Shocker....I know. Hahaha! In the annual catalog on page 195 are the personalized stamps any of y'all can order for this purpose. Even though it shows the examples with addresses, it can be whatever you want it to say. Mine, for example, says..."hand stamped by Kara Golby". Let me know if I can help you if you have any ?'s.

Kara are you happy with just "hand stamped"? I look at all the work that goes into making a card and I want people to know I did it all. And I often make cards that have no stamping on them at all. Or just a little sentiment. I prefer "handmade by"

It's called The Stampin' Place. www.stampin.com/They have a great selection of custom stamps. You can even get signature stamps for the inside of your cards. Don't think I would go that far but an address stamp I just may have to have for my envelopes. For the back of the card go to custom stamps then to personalized then you have several choices as to size and style.

Or just a little sentiment. I prefer "handmade by" I do have other stamps that do say "handmade by" but they aren't personalized. I would have to sign my name like you were talking about earlier. No, it doesn't bother me. Most people who know me know that I make a lot of cards. If they don't, it's no big deal. I'm pretty sure I've seen some really pretty custom stamps like y'all are looking for on etsy. Have you checked out any stores there yet?

I have a few different handmade stamps. The one I've used most is a bootlegged Hallmark type logo that says "Handmade" instead but the same kind of script and a little crown. I bought it a long time ago at a rubber stamp convention.

I think the Decorative Label Monogram stamp would be a perfect choice for a personalized "handcrafted" stamp. These stamps are completely custom to whatever you want it to say.

I have one similar to this => Personalized Stamp but instead of a dragonfly its a daisy. I ordered mine and several for friend gifts. It was cheap and really quick, like I had them in four or five days. It's unmounted, so I bought a $1 block from M's and mounted it permanently. ETA: The seller was really nice and changed up the fonts for me.

I just recently purchased a stamp for the back of my cards as a "finishing touch" and I couldn't be more pleased. I found mine on Etsy from a little shop called Your New Friend Sam. The owner, Sam Allen does amazing work and is very personable. The quality of the stamp is impressive. Looks better in person, if that's possible. Plus, the packaging was super cute I was very, very pleased with my purchase. Plus...she's reasonably priced! Also, I have to say that there's something very satisfying about stamping the back of your card and seeing it on the finished product. (PS - I don't know Sam...just am a fan of her work)

I have a couple personalized stamps that say "created by Elisabeth" one in a simple font and the other in script. I also have a stamp, it is simple and is the added touch of a handmade card in my opinion. Makes the card look finished, even if it is just a small stamp.

Mine says, "Hand-stamped especially for you by Kate"
I would love to get another one for the cards that I make that are NOT stamped!

I created a design using a few shapes from the Silhouette store. Mine says "Handcrafted by Sabriolet Designs (my blog's name). est. 2011". I had a custom stamp made, and I also did a print and cut of the same image inside a scalloped circle. I tend to use those more because I realized I got the stamp made too small, I should have gone a little bigger to get the detail that I wanted. I may reorder in a bigger size at some point, but right now the little tags are working well for me.

Kristina Werner just shared a place where she got a custom made stamp that says handmade by Kristina. I would love to have something like that too. I have some that I could use but I always forget!

I have a personalised stamp - my friend got it for me from one of the big box office stores (Office Max, I think) - it has a lighthouse and "handmade by Linda"

I have one that I got from stampoutonline.com. It is self inking and personalized. I'm really happy with it. They have lots of designs and nice customer service. I found them on etsy. Also a pea posted about paperangel.com and they have some cute ones. I don't know anything about them though.

I have a stamp that I got from Pick Your Plum It is a circle and in the middle it says Ronnys Creations and around the circle it says 'handmade just for you from my craft room bits and pieces' The circle is about an inch I think.
Pick your plum doesn't always have them but they come up every once in awhile and they have several versions but you can have anything you want written on them.

I've just used a generic stamp on the back of mine, but these examples and links have motivated me to choose something custom for future projects. Thanks!

I found a gorgeous stamp with my initials in a sort of Celtic swirl, which I used for years. Alas, I got married this year and the initials on the stamp no longer match my name, so I'm in the market for an update! Thanks for all the links and suggestions.
