I need a new microwave. I've had the same one since I got married 26 years ago, and it is still working great. For various reasons, I need to get a new one. It has to be a countertop model. So if you have one that you are pleased with, let me know!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my convection microwave. You can use it as a convection oven or a microwave. It is awesome for holidays, or in the summer when it's too hot for the oven. I had never heard of it, but a friend has one. It is so nice. I use the oven part more often than the microwave.

My new toaster oven is also a convection oven, but I haven't tried it out yet (but will!) I decided to go ahead and go with another Panasonic. That's what has lasted us 26 years, and my inlaws just replaced their Panasonic after 28 years, and my parents' lasted 30+ years! So I spent a little more than I had intended, but expect to get my money's worth. Plus, Consumer Reports rated it at the top.

My stupid microwave just will not die. I've had it since 1997. And honestly, with the kids using it now, some days I would rather buy a new one than have to clean it. It seems like they get stuff all over it. Gross.

Mine is slowly dying. VERY slowly. We have to add on a little bit of time to any recommendation. And every time we use the microwave in the RV, we forget that it's newer and almost always burn that first batch of popcorn. I do like my little one though despite its slow death. It's half the size of most microwaves. I think it would be advertised as a dorm or apartment microwave. It's light enough that it can be easily lifted to clean under it. It has a General Electric logo on it. It's old enough for me to forget where it even came from.

I have a Panasonic over the range one that I love. Cooks rice to perfection, sensor reheat is spot on. It has many presets.
