I looked a little further, and Sax has several colors of the Tumi bag on sale for $70 & free shipping. If you have an AmEx platinum card and haven't used your $50 Jan-Jun Sax credit, it's a huge bargain!

I would also check out these two sites to see if you can find something similar.
ricksteves.com Under shop online they have a Hide Away Tote Bag that is only $19.99 that fold up to a very small package. But it's large when it's open, it's 22" by 8" by 16"
magellans.com This is a great site for travel gear. I've used it a lot for things before I travel. I haven't looked for tote bags yet but they do sell a bungie cord device that allows you to attach any type of bag to your suitcase. They probably have great fold up tote bags too.

I could not bring myself to pay $100 for that when I know you could find something similar and much cheaper at TJMaxx That's exactly where I found the one I use!

I personally would not spend $100 on a nylon tote bag, but if you like it, go for it!

I have the Tumi foldable backpack, and I LOVE it for travel because I can pack it so nicely when I’m not using it and the straps don’t have extra hanging pieces.
If packability and the luggage sleeve are important to you, then this is a high quality option. Truly, my Tumi backpack is made out of really nice materials.
I did, however, spend hours looking for an alternative that looked as professional and had those two other key elements and couldn’t find one.
I’d spend some time looking for an alternative, if you haven’t. But if you have and this is what works for you, then I say get it. You’ll use it enough so that cost per wear will be quite low.
Also, I’m assuming you’ll use this as a carry on and not check it.
