kellyr21, you can get all cotton T's anywhere. I bought the pocketless T's at Walmart in the men's department for the game con. They were only 3.44 per shirt. I did have one big and tall that I got at JC Penney for 11.44. I know that Ms, JAs, and HL all carry the shirts as well. I can get you the online shop I found. I'll look for it when I have time. I bought from them last year. It was only a few shirts. Their pricing is in tiers. So if you buy 1-9 shirts it's XXX. when you buy the next level it's XX, the next level is X. It's still cheaper than the department stores. Looking forward to reading your next blog post when I get a chance. grammadee, Enjoy your last day at Disney!! That jelly cake that each of the boys (DH & his 3 brothers and his dad) grew up with every year - all had different versions when they were talking about it last Sunday. I'm not sure of the versions. The jello cake is cubed angel food cake with a jello, strawberry, and cool whip mixture folded in according to his dad. DH thought you could use any cake, but is now going to use angel food. The atomic cake turned gluten free is on the birthday menu for Tuesday. Hoping I don't make a mess of it. I will definitely share photos. Looks like I will be cooking all day Monday and Tuesday. I better place an egg order with all that custard and pasta. Off to get something done today as I slept in this morning and it's already 8.

grammadee, I envy you the week in Orlando. I have fond memories of taking my granddaughters there while DH was in Golf Course meetings. So much to do and see. Have a great time for all of us. LisaDV, I hope DD has recovered from the trip. I understand car sickness. Not fun on top of other issues. I, too, would love to know about the Jello cake. I love jello. kellyr21, I love your blog. I left you a note. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Are you doing some art work too. I love your cards you posted on scrapbook.com. Beautiful work! msliz, I am so happy that your DD is out and about and doing things that stretch her. Have her health issues been better? I know it's extra work for you, but how nice that she is becoming more independent. joyfulnana, how is the stocking coming? Have you had time to work on it this month? @elaynef, I would love to see your pocket pages. I really would like to do that, but my photos seem to be both landscape and portrait of the same events. I don't know how to work around that. I guess I just need to get into it and learn. Congrats on getting albums finished. That must feel so good. You take such beautiful scenery photos. I thought of you this morning as I watched the sun come up between our mountains as I took DH to work. Of course I didn't have a camera and by the time I got home the sun was up. knutschen, Happy Belated Birthday. I'm sorry I missed it. I hope you are getting some scrapping time and that work is going well. Linda, I get a big smile every time I think of you with your DS. What a wonderful reunion. I hope you are having a wonderful time. How is he enjoying being in the States? Be careful driving back home. I am hobbling on my knee, but I do see a little improvement each day. I have most things ready for CC on Monday, but will do the food shopping tomorrow and hope we are ready. DH is planning a little wood project with half of them while we etch glass with the others. That's all ready to go. The huge dino eggs are really fun. I can't wait to see the faces of the little boys. (older girls won't care, but I have a "selfie scavenger hunt planned for them.) Drew is coming early to letter some signs for me and to chalk some dino tracks up to the front door. Should be a fun couple of days.

Hey everyone. It's show week for me. Dress rehearsals T, W, Th, and shows F, Sa, Su. I don't know if I explained or not that I gave up directing to act. We were short some people for the first time ever, so I switched roles. My mom and cousin are coming Thursday night and staying for the weekend. We hosted a barbecue last night, but because of the threat of rain, we ate inside. We hosted DH's family as well as a friend of ours and his mother. We have a new picnic table that I will have to break in another time. It's square and can seat 8 people (made out of resin and metal). nylene those eggs look amazing. I want to come to cousin camp! Take care of that knee. I'm sending healing vibes your way. grammadee I hope you are safe and sound back in Canada. I can't wait to see your Orlando layouts over the next months. Linda have a wonderful visit. LisaDV your lemon chiffon cake sounds amazing. I just bought ice cream cake for our guests.
Waving hi to all the other Pokeys!

Happy Monday! Hey ladies, I hope your weekend was good. We did a little shopping and I found a hot pink lace dress at JC Penney on sale and plus the extra discount brought it to $17.00 and some change. I love hot pink and wanted to have something that color. Plus, I love a good buy. I finished my crocheting blanket and want the ladies to show me how to add a better border. Also, I went to M's and got more yarn. This yarn is multi-colored in yellows, blues, and greens. It fades from one color to the next. So pretty! This will be another giant square. You ladies will be surprised but I am gonna start a scrapbook page!!! I have been feeling inspired and plan to get it going tomorrow. I haven't scrapped in like forever! I think after years of scrapping and card making, I just ran out of gas. But, doing a page here and there is good for me now. nylene - Thanks for the visit and comment at my blog. Yes, I will be starting some painting soon. I do miss it but I got so caught up in crocheting and other stuff. Oh, our park concerts started so we will be going this week. I am so excited for your CC. Those eggs are so awesome and I know the kids will freak out when they see them. Pace yourself and have a fantastic time!!!! linda - Happy you are safe and sound. How was the trip? LisaDV - How did the meal turn out? That atomic gluten cake sounds so fun. Let us know how it all turns out. Girl, with the various menus you prepare, you could do a cookbook. For real! Thanks for telling me about the t-shirts. I did see the ones at M's and even at JCP. I'll be playing around with this iron on ideas. Did you see they have a new infusible ink M's has? I saw a video about it and it looks cool. justjac - Best wishes on your play. I hope it all goes well and you have fun. Share some pics when you can. What is this play about?

Just checking in to let you know I am home safe and sound. Drove to Edmonton, took some time to print pic's and visit a LSS to pick up my May/June kits, then drove home. Stopped at a camera store and was told the lens motor has quit and that is why my camera quit working in Florida. I have a different lens, and the camera works with it on, but it is different from the one I have been using so it will take some getting used to. Was going to sort the printed photos tonight, but my brain is not working properly so I think I will just go to bed. Already noticed there are a few that didn't get printed. Will need to make a list of which ones are missing. Don't know if I just missed them at the kiosk or if they were not printed because I forgot to take the "Live" off of them. (The live photos are read as if they are a video and the printing program ignores them). LOVE your dino eggs, nylene ! Bet they are a hit with the dgk's! Congrats on finishing your crochet project, kellyr21 and on starting up a new series on your blog. Glad you are home safe too, Linda. Can't wait to hear about your trip! Hope all your baking and cooking goes well, LisaDV . After being away for ten days, I feel like I have forgotten how to cook anything, let alone anything that complicated! Busy week ahead, justjac . I might have to drive into town on Friday to pick up something for dh, so I may check out getting a ticket to the play. But first... bed...

nylene , your dino eggs are amazing. I can’t believe how much work you put into your cousin camp. They are so going to love this. justjac , I hope you had an awesome show weekend. I still wish we could see your plays. We had to eat inside for our barbecue too. The outside chairs were wet, although the rain had stopped. Linda , I’m so glad you had a good time! I’m sure we’ll be seeing the museum shots in some scrapbook pages soon. kellyr21 , yay for a scrapbook page and for a bargain! How lovely for park concerts! That’s awesome. I have seen those infusibles. They do look cool. grammadee , hope you are resting and that you get those photos sorted out. Oh, my goodness! Sunday’s FIL visit was held and went off without a hitch. Now DH’s birthday dinner and cake: That was a whole other story. Several issues were had: My sink drainage pipes were replaced due to a leak. I noticed the wetness on Sunday morning and we emptied out the cabinet and put a fan on it. When we ran the sink to test, nothing leaked. Thought it was a fluke. On Monday, I realize that there is a leak but it needs to be a large amount of water at once. I emptied a full pan into the sink. This also means that every time I ran my dishwasher I was putting more water in there. This held me up on Monday’s cooking chores. I did make the red sauce, the 2 different meat fillings (DD gets a separate one), and the crème patissiere for the cake. I couldn’t get to the pasta or the final piecing together. Tuesday, I was planning to bake 2 cake layers -the vanilla and chocolate at the same time, and then the banana cake separately, only to realize my layered cake pans are at the farm. I only have nested springform pans and shapes here. So each had to be baked independently as I needed them the same size for stacking. When I went to make the pasta, I realized I needed more AP flour. I don’t use a lot of AP flour, since DD is gluten free I don’t make a lot of gluten items. Had to run to the store. It was hot in the kitchen from cooking all day, plus it was an 80F day and humid. The only day that is suppose to be that warm this week, of course. The atomic cake and layers were ugly. Like super bad. It was supposed to be covered in whipped cream. It was too hot in my kitchen to even make my stabilized whipped cream. I would have stiff peaks. Stop it. Bring the bowl to the island and it would be a pile of mushy goo. I tried 3x. If I whipped it again, it would just turn into butter. Like a snap of the fingers turn. On the third try I just put a dollop of whipped soft goop on the top of the cake and apologized to DH. Oh, and my Bavarian cream didn’t turn out either (that was me messing up on the instructions. I know to read through them completely before starting a recipe, I did last week, because I had never made Bavarian cream before. However yesterday I couldn’t read those instructions right to save my life. – luckily the crème patissiere was more than enough for the 2nd layer.) DD is the master of chocolate ganache (I know it’s easy to make in the first place), but even that didn’t turn out yesterday. It was the uglies thing I’ve ever created. It was delicious! We have plans to make it again, but this time on a cooler day or with the air on if it’s humid. And without me having to roll out pasta and fill it. Oh, I also kept forgetting to get wrapping paper, so DH’s gifts were in brown paper grocery sacks. (shaking my head in shame). I’m done! Well until next week – DD’s birthday. (face palm) Luckily, other than chicken teriyaki, we're eating leftovers for the next several days. And I have a few meals for already planned (all the stuff here) for when leftovers run out. No grocery store for me this week. huzzah!

LisaDV I think we have all had days like that. I have learned the hard way that baking and candy making in the summer is a bad idea! Chocolate takes on a whole new life at higher temps. The first cake I ever decorated was for my niece and I was working with my dsil's pans and tools in a very hot house. Nothing worked and in the end the icing just slid right off the cake. But like yours, the taste was there, and that was all the kids really cared about. When I was decorating cakes for my own kids' birthdays (three of them born in July), I usually ended up decorating the cake late at night after everyone else was asleep, so the house was cooler. Can't wait to see your scrapbook page, kellyr21 . I spent yesterday in the garden weeding. Had to reseed some cucumbers b/c the ones that were up when I left home did not like the snow that fell on them a couple of days later, so they are shriveling up. Have my printed photos sorted and a list of which ones I need to print when I am in town. Working on some cards today. Need to get 3 of them into the mail this week. After the cards, I hope to get back into pages again, but it always takes me a bit of time to get started. Every decision--atarting with where do I start--seems to be SO hard before I get rolling. Think I will print off the challenges to get me going. Have some cool pic's of my ds with his little boys on top of my photo pile. Might use them for Fathers Day pages and maybe my June calendar page.

Me: *catches up on everyone's posts* Me: What's going on in here? Snow in June at grammadee 's (that's madness)? Dino eggs (GAH, THEY ARE GORGEOUS AND I WANT ONE) at nylene 's (ouch for your knee though)? Frankenbakin' at LisaDV 's (seriously, baking and pastry-making are so sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity level so I feel you!)? I've started working on my Small Things album without photos. I placed my order last week and it was supposed to be here already but nothing in the mailbox today. Or yesterday. Or the day before. *heavy sigh* I can't wait to have them in my hands so I can complete my spreads and get some points for my team. What did arrive is my Studio Calico Brunch stamp set. It's lovely! And now I'm trying to convince my mother to host a little welcome summer brunch this weekend so I have an excuse to break it in... "Do it for my scrap album!"

Hi ladies! Man I have a lot to catch up on! @elaynef your trip sounds wonderful! Well, except the DFW airport. I always seem to have have a lay over in Chicago and that airport is a nightmare too! grammadee I've used tap a talk to upload photos once in awhile but they either post humongous or teeny tiny. I prefer flickr even though there are a few extra steps. Glad you are safe and sound at home so your DH has someone to talk to. I LOL'd at that! I have problems with printing the live photos too so I ended up shutting if off even though I love that feature. Can't wait to see your Disney pages - I'll bet there are some already in the team share thread - you are quick! WTH?! Snow in June?! LisaDV so much cooking going on! Do you and your DD eat more of a paleo style diet? I know I see paleo and keto deserts all the time on pinterest. I have dabbled in cooking and eating both those ways. I don't care for jello either and is this jello cake the one where you punch holes in the top and pour the jello in? ewwww. Although I do like the pudding cakes that are made that way lol. I really really need to make time for exercise. I quit smoking long ago but now sitting is the new smoking! ugh. I cook from scratch a lot and I really feel like that's where my creativity goes rather than to crafting. I would prefer to be crafting! Oh no! Oh my! What a difficult cooking day you had! But it was delicious and that's all that's all that matters! As for the grocery bags, um, we have been known to use the regular plastic ones sometimes lol. And one Christmas I put everyone's gifts into canvas shopping bags because I didn't want to bother with wrapping paper lol. nylene how is your knee?! I can't wait to hear all about cousin camp. Love the dino eggs! And a selfie scavenger hunt sounds fun. I'll bet you all had a wonderful time and I can't wait to hear about it and see the pages you will make! justjac that's so awesome that you act and direct! I'm such an introvert that acting would terrify me lol. That sucks about the indoor BBQ but I bet it was still a good time! Good luck with the play! kellyr21 I just love your blog! It IS very inspirational! I haven't purchased a magazine in years, but may have to check this one out. Anything that can help me balance wellness and busyness is a win! Yay for finishing your crochet project! And yay to scrapbooking!! And yay for good deals on dresses! linda I'm so happy that you got to finally see your DS and spend some time with him. I can't wait to hear about it! sleepingbooty what is your small things album? I'm interested in all kinds of different albums. This sounds like something I need to add to my "great intentions, but will never ever get done list" I bought an Avenger's stamp set at TM a few weeks ago and now I need to make more Avengers pages so that I can use them. I hope DGS doesn't outgrow them for awhile (or me for that matter) lol. I feel like it's been forever that I've been around! I wish I could say I had been busy getting points for me team, but no. I got the great news on the ticket, then youngest DS caused some family drama. He has addiction/mental health issues that he won't get real help for even though it's available to him. And last weekend I was getting all settled in to scrapbook and found out I had had a tire stolen off my car. That wrecked my day and pretty much sucked the creative mojo out of me. OT at work and I'm just now starting to feel like creating again. The police officer just kept shaking his head and saying "this is so silly. Why would anyone do this?" I would like to know the answer to that myself. I sure don't have fancy wheels and rims lol. But it's fixed now and hopefully they won't be back. I'm going to check in and start catching up on the sharing thread and hope to get something done this weekend. Oh yeah, I have to! I have the sketch challenge next weekend lol. So I will have at least one more layout in me this month! I hope everyone has an excellent weekend!!

Every day I thought I'd get to my computer to read and post and instead I just dropped into bed. It has been such a crazy, fun week. When Angie gets here from Calif, the rest of the kids come to spend time with her and we have a houseful of children and adults all week. The grandchildren insist that no parents stay for Cousin Camp, so after some photos are taken they all leave and get together for dinner. The dino eggs were the hit of the camp. We also had a dino luncheon with dino scales (chips), dino bones (pretzels) dino claws (bugles), etc. It was so funny to hear them politely ask someone to pass the Dino tongues (licorice) or teeth. We served Dino shaped chicken nuggets and went through a big Costco box of them. sleepingbooty, I would like to hear more about your Small Things Album. I have never heard of that! grammadee, your snow sounds ominous. We are having a cold snap, so unusual. It's only in the 60's for the high. Crazy weather. Our flowers are not doing well. Not sure if it's the cold or if we have a bug eating them. We've planted twice. LisaDV, your dinner sounds wonderful even if the weather didn't cooperate with the chocolate. I'd love to come have dinner at your house sometime. I love your descriptions of your recipes. joyfulnana, those manhole fountains are incredible! I have never seen so much rain and cool weather as we are seeing. I am really hungry for some nice warm weather. I hope you don't have dangerous flooding! Linda, I am so happy for you that you got to spend some time with DS. It's hard to have a child far from home, even if they are adults. I'm sure he was glad to see you. justjac, your healing vibes have worked. The knee is much better. Still has some pain, but I can walk on it. Sitting for even an hour makes it hurt when I first get up, but if I keep moving it's ok. Thanks! I am looking toward Nov-ish for the replacement. It depends on how I do until then. kellyr21, I sent you a PM. Sorry I missed your note! I need to spend the day doing laundry and putting this house back in shape. I'll try to check in often. Hugs to all.

sleepingbooty, good of you to stop in. I hope your mother is kind enough to oblige you with a summer brunch. joyfulnana, holy moley, that's a lot of water! It looks so cool though. I'm so sorry you've had such a time lately. I can't believe someone would steal your tire!! Crazy! I hope your son will get the help he needs, and I will pray for him. Unfortunately, you can't do it for someone or make them do it. You are describing a "Jello Poke cake". Obvious name, right? They get no marks for originality there. DH will go for one of those if in a pinch. Do you remember those jello - cool whip desserts that was at like every pot luck in the 70s & 80s? The base was jello and cool whip and then whoever has making it would add in whatever items they wanted, usually fruit of some type. The jello-cool whip mix is the basis for the jello cake. You fold in angel food cake cubes or pour it over the angel food cubes depending. DH folded it in. He made jello with strawberries added in my bundt pan first. After that set he did the cool whip thing. Then let that set in the refrigerator overnight. When he popped it out, he covered it in cool whip and added fresh strawberries to the top. It looked very cute. Just not my cup of tea. We have not done Keto as it is low carb high fat. DD doesn’t do well with high fat. Paleo we have done, for the short term it was okay, but DD didn't seem to do well for her long term. We still use several paleo styled meals and treats. I am an advocate for from scratch cooking for the taste. But also liked the convenience of processed foods when life was busy and now I can’t fall back to any of those. With many of DD’s food issues, I have to make from scratch for many things that we would have bought – like pickles and ranch dressing (I would have bought that packet before). And some things I make just because of taste – like mayonnaise, but I only use farm fresh eggs. We eat generally a healthy diet, except for too much sugar and too much meat. For DH & I, our portions could be smaller as well. nylene, you’re dino luncheon sounds awesome. I bet the kids had such a blast. So funny that they kick the adults out. I’m glad your knee is doing a bit better. Did they say how long rehab is after the surgery? I hope you can wait until Nov-ish and that it doesn’t give you any problems until then. DH & I went to the last day of an estate sale yesterday where everything was half off. We picked up an Ethan Allen desk and chair for DH for our bedroom. A beautiful entry hall table. When the man came to write out our ticket to take up to the cashier and put the sold on the table, a lady said the table was her great grandmothers. They had no idea where she got it or how old it was. We also bought a ping pong table. They made me play today. I’m not the most coordinated of people. Maybe they just wanted a laugh. I also bought an ugly swan soup tureen. Yes, it’s ugly. But it’s unique. All for right around $300. I hit a garage sale earlier that morning and found a beautiful glass bird bath with hummingbirds on it for cheap too. Scores for the weekend. Well, I’ve wasted a good portion of my Saturday, although I did create a double page layout, so that’s not really a complete waste. lol

Wow, joyfulnana! That was some manhole geyser! After a very dry spring, we are getting rain every day now, but not in amounts like THAT! I am thankful our house is on top of a hill, so any big amount of rain runs away. Dh gets quite upset if water makes runways across the garden, but it's hard to prevent that when he keeps working up the soil between the plants. So sorry to hear about your ds's continued struggles. And what's with a tire thief??? nylene, I love your cousin camp stories. That dino lunch sounds really cool. And of COURSE the eggs were a big hit!!! Your grandkids are really lucky to have such a creative grandmother! Glad your knee is behaving. Mine were good to me in Florida, but have been sending me some twinges now that I am back home. I think they prefer it if I walk only on level pavement. Nothing major though, and when I get a twinge I stop to stretch my knees, then walk very carefully for a bit, using the advice the PT's gave me. LisaDV, your dh's cake sounds really interesting. I remember making jelly salads and desserts like that in bundt pans. I make the Jello poke cake for Easter each year using spring colours like blue and purple and green, and then I split the two layers into four and put a cream cheese/ vanilla pudding/lemon pie filling mixture between layers. sleepingbooty, your Little Things album sounds interesting. Would love to see some pages. Yesterday I got into town so was able to reprint a couple of photos for some pages I started earlier in the week, so today I was able to finish those LO's plus do one more. So six pages posted today. Have been relying on sketch challenges and lifts for ideas. I have a couple more pages started. They should be ready to share in the morning. Here are a couple of them: Blizzard Beach by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Blizzard Beach 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Last night I attended justjac's theatre performance: five minis plays, all dealing with relationships, all well enacted, all really funny. Lots of laughter in the audience. Got to say a quick hello at the end of the evening, but then had to drive home. I didn't get any photos this time, but there was a lady sitting beside me who was taking pic's for the event they were part of, so I hope you get some of those, justjac.

I would have loved to see justjac's performances. How lucky you are, grammadee! Your pages are wonderful. I love seeing all the extra fun touches you always add. I have a question for you. I know that you don't print your own photos, but you have so many in smaller sizes. How do you do that? I have a million photos from CC and would like to have them smaller than 4x6. LisaDV, your Estate Sale purchases sound wonderful. When DH's mother passed, we held an estate sale and I was surprised that nearly everything sold, including hot pads, knick knacks, etc. We paid an auctioneer and he got good prices. I haven't seen estate sales around here, but I wouldn't really know where to look for them. I am waiting for some help to get all the CC photos from everyone else's cameras into my computer. Em and Doug will come soon and walk me through it. I am anxious to get scrapping them. My scraproom is a disaster from all the festivities and crafts last week, but I'm hoping to get it back in shape a little each day. I have a couple of July b-day cards I am working on. I'm slowly getting comments written on the works posted in the gallery. I hope I get to the thread too before the end of the month.

nylene, when you take time to clean up, remember it’s 10 points per hour now on the organization/clean challenge. DH is an avid estate sale and auction type guy. This estate sale was amazing. The stuff they had was - WOW! They had full sets of dishes and many of them, high quality furniture, a pool table, etc. etc. Many of the things we were interested in were already sold. I couldn't believe my luck with the flip entry table. It also made me rethink completely how we've done things. I've always said I wanted lots of different china's and service ware. No longer. I told Don we're selling all of our sets. I'm not keeping it unless it's something we absolutely love. It was just too much. I don't want to leave that for my kids to go through.

LisaDV, you guys will have a blast with that ping pong table! We used ours a lot when the kids were the age of yours. Loved the pic's you shared on the photo thread. nylene, I print my photos at WalMart. I edit right at the kiosk. Most are printed at 4x6, some at 5x7, and a few at 8x10. But then I trim a lot of the photos as I am scrapping them. Most common size I trim to is 4x4, but I also do smaller squares, or 3x5. I seldom zoom in tight enough to fill a whole frame anyway, so most photos have some free space that can be trimmed off. Dh and I attended a funeral today of a man who was a favorite boss of dh's. As a funeral, this was not really a sad occasion: he had lived to 94 years of age and was "ready to go". This guy treated his employees as family and really fostered a team approach at the organization. Thirty years later, we still have fond memories of that time. It was nice to catch up with a lot of people who worked together back then. Looking forward to seeing your Cousin Camp pages, nylene, when you get to them!

Wow LisaDV you got some great stuff for great prices! A ping pong table! That's awesome! And I'm sure it will be lots of fun. I remember those kinds of jello cakes too lol. I've never been a big fan of jello - or kool aid for that matter lol. It's crazy the way there is gluten and added sugar in everything. I enjoy cooking sometimes, but cooking from scratch all the time is tiring. But everyone would be better off without the convenience of fast food. I do feel better when I eat lower carb, but I can't handle all the fat in a Keto diet and I miss dairy if I try to follow paleo. And when I follow either of those eating plans I still cheat and use the packaged sauces and mayo lol. I know you don't have that option. nylene I can't wait to see your CC pages! That's too funny that the kids kicked the adults out and your dinner story made me chuckle lol. Kids are so fun. Especially when they are grands lol. I have been thinking about using smaller photos as well and if I have a sketch that calls for smaller sizes I usually make a collage with 4x6 and cut them apart. I tend to fill the frame when I'm taking photos so there isn't much I can crop In addition to our manhole fountain I read yesterday that we have had 38 inches of precipitation so far this year which is more than our average for the entire year. Every time it rains now it's setting a new record. And it rains at least a little every few days. grammadee I live on a hill too so I don't have to worry about flooding where I am, but get the flood alerts on my phone for the area multiple times a day since April I think. That's so cool you got to see justjac's play! I'm going to crop at my mom's this weekend and have some pages kits put together for that (oh Donna challenge points!) And my sketch layout is coming together slowly but surely. I am very far behind on commenting though. I hope to get that caught up by the end of the week.

Nylene said "I know that you don't print your own photos, but you have so many in smaller sizes. How do you do that? I have a million photos from CC and would like to have them smaller than 4x6."
Did you find a method you like, nylene? I use photo sheet on my desktop and have for many years. Im not a techy but it's so easy and does so many things if you want to play with it but I mostly just do the 2 3x4's on a 6x4 sheet. There is another thread about what everyone uses right now, too.
Lisadv, we had a ping pong table when the kids were teens, too...and a pool table.
I had a moment yesterday. Ya'll know how cheap I am. At least a year ago, I bought a paper pad that was pre designed and felt guilty about it. I promised myself i would use every sheet..and yesterday i used the last page!

Thanks grammadee for the ideas for smaller photos. I have cut my 4x6 sometimes when there is extra space. Sometimes I just can't get them small enough for an 8x11 page. @elaynef, I remember that Cindy (scrapincin) used photo sheet. I will look into that. I am not at all techy but hope I can figure it out. I think I looked at it once and thought I'd need Cindy to walk me through it. I'll contact you if I struggle. Congrats on using that last page from your paper pad. I had one that I used every sheet and every scrap. I wish I could find more that I love that much. joyfulnana, 38 inches is a lot of water! We have had lots here too and are scheduled for a wet summer. I hope you have a great crop with your mother. I hope you accomplish a lot and enjoy your time with your mother. This is a week full of appts that we put off from last week and I feel like I'm spending my life in the car. Today we see the Surgeon/Oncologist for DH's eye for a (hopefully) last time. We went to a Macular Degen. appt yesterday and a haircut for DH. Tomorrow is my haircut (thank heavens-I'm shaggy!) and have an Energy assessment set up for all afternoon Friday. I miss the "grands" already. We had a great time, but it wore us out. LOL

Happy Wednesday! It is a nice sunny day and I hope you all are doing well today. I finished a couple of layouts and a birthday card for mom. Birthday Card June by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr Trees by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr These were fun to make and I have a few more layouts to finish. grammadee , Yes the flowers on the card I painted from white to that peachy pink color. They were some extra flowers I had leftover from Mother's Day. I haven't scrapped in so long I almost forgot how. LOL!!! LisaDV - Your dh sounds like a real bargain hunter. I like garage sales and used to enjoy thrift store shopping for vintage tea sets. nylene - Have you recovered from CC? I know you were tired afterwards but it is a good tired. Take it easy if you can. grammadee - Sorry to hear about the loss of your dh's former boss. Sounds like he lived a full life. Great you got to see justjac play. I know she was excellent. @elaynef - Waving hi and hope you are doing well. Glad to hear you used up that pp you had. I have lots of pp too and I just let it sit until I feel a need for it.But it does take up room. Geez! Waving hello to all you ladies and have a good evening/afternoon!

Your pages and cards are gorgeous, kellyr21! Good job finishing off that paper pad, @elaynef! I almost NEVER finish off any complete pad or collection or sticker sheet, and I seem to hang onto the leftovers forever! Hope your dd had a wonderful birthday, LisaDV, that your family is finally all healthy, and that you will finally get a little time to relax. But it sounds like you are expecting company this weekend, so I guess your life is not slowing down yet. I am almost done scrapping for the month. Got more done than I thought because the rainy weather has kept me out of the garden. Here are a couple of my LO's from this week. Hoping to put together a couple more pages and a card this month. Happy Friday! Hope all is well. I did make it to the craft group last night. I was so happy to share my crochet blanket with them. They were so proud of me and so was I. I gotta take some pictures to share with you all. It is so big trying to figure out how to photograph it. Also, I added more pictures to my blog of my latest layouts. Stop my if you can. ksimonedesigns.blogspot.com/grammadee - You are the queen of double pages now! They are so cohesive and well done. Sorry the rain kept you inside but look at what you did!

grammadee , I’m glad you got to catch up with old friends. I’m still sorry for your loss, even if he was ready. I’ve really been enjoying your pages on the sharing thread. My favorites from the last few pages is Dad Love, that color is gorgeous! and We’re Here, with all the hexagons – I’ll have to lift that one. (Just made it down to where you shared on this thread those 2 layouts! Lol!) joyfulnana , I don’t know if I mentioned earlier that I have recently decided to go back to grinding my own wheat. DH is getting me the kitchen-aid grinder attachment. I bought wheat berries grown in Italy. I’ve heard from many people that have DD’s issue that when they’re in Europe they can eat wheat. So I wonder if it’s all the glysophate that gets sprayed on the wheat in the US. I’ll try her on the wheat too. She’s excited to try it. I’ve also decided, I think, to go raw milk. – 38” of rain and still counting – wowsers! I hope your area doesn’t float away. @elaynef , DH & DS are still hoping for a pool table. The ping pong table will be banished to one of the garages at that point. Congrats on using every sheet of that paper pad!! Good job! nylene , do you use PSE? If so you can easily create 4x6 templates for smaller photos to print at the 4x6 size. I hope it’s still all good news for your DH’s eye. I so need to schedule a haircut. It’s so long that I can now put my hair into a ponytail. But I kind of like putting it up when we’re in the pool, so I might just forego a cut for the summer. kellyr21 , your pages are absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your blanket. I have DS hold things like that up for me to photograph. Maybe your DH will be so kind as to help you. My sister called to wish DD a happy birthday yesterday, and I found out that my nephew is coming to visit this Sunday. DH had spoken with him months ago and they made the plan, of course, DH didn’t remember the date he was coming and told me sometime in July. Of course, we’re beyond excited. DH & DS are still recovering from their colds which they came down with this week. Due to their colds and not getting DD’s birthday stuff done, I didn’t get a lot of sleep 3 nights in a row, so I felt like I was coming down with the stupid cold. Luckily, I slept almost 12 hours last night. Although I’m still a bit tired, I haven’t fully succumbed and I’m still holding out hope that I won’t. But the biggest miracle is that DD, who usually catches it first and has it longest, hasn’t had the slightest inkling of it. I cannot tell you how thrilled this makes me. Due to the above, not much scrapbooking or crafting of any kind going on in my neck of the woods. DD & I have been enjoying the pool. I think we were in every day this week except 1. I finally had to turn on the a/c too. Hope everyone has a great weekend (end of June)!

Hello! I can't believe this month is practically over already. It just got started! I wish time wouldn't go so fast. I posted the sketch for tomorrow, and am packing for my crop. I'm not sure how much I will actually get done, we get sidetracked easily lol. And of course I'm bringing way too much with me lol. kellyr21 I love your pages! And there is no way you are 52! I seriously thought you were in your 30's! Not there is anything wrong with 50's. I'm quite enjoying mine lol. LisaDV I've heard that about the wheat here in the US and that it isn't good for us. I go through spurts where I try to stay gluten free, then miss sandwiches lol. And mostly I miss the convenience of quick meal. Yay that you and DD didn't get sick! I hope that sticks. It is summer here now too. Hot and humid all weekend. But I'm sure you are really welcoming the heat after the long winter there. @elaynef that's awesome that you completely finished a paper pad! I'm not sure I've ever finished off a package of anything except cardstock. nylene I hope DH's appt went well! Totally relate to missing the kids and yet being worn out lol. grammadee there love in the gallery! I guess I should go finish packing up. I hope I get as much done as intend to lol.

joyfulnana, I hope you have a wonderful time crafting and visiting at your crop. I love your sketch but don't think I will get to it this month. I might have an hour or two in my scraproom this weekend, but I am kind of scrapped out for now. Done with the Disney/Florida pages (except for a couple of pages that probably just won't get done) and not quite ready to get into the baseball and outdoor play ones. Should probably pack up and put away the tropical and Disney supplies to make room, b/c these next pages will be using completely different stuff. This is a long weekend in Canada, but no one will be coming out to the farm, so it's just the two of us. I plan to text the dgk's to ask them for Canada Day photos for me to scrap. Will see what they come up with! Tomorrow is our nephew's birthday, so we are invited for supper. I am making a big potato salad to take, cooking the eggs and potatoes today. Pulled the first radishes from the garden today to go into that salad, too. Monday is Canada Day in town with a pancake breakfast, parade and then various activities in the afternoon, fireworks in the evening. We will go in for at least the morning. Not as much fun without the kids here. Hope the medical appointments went well, nylene, and that you have recovered from Cousin Camp. Hope you have the energy soon to scrap those photos. Did you find a way to print smaller ones? LisaDV, it sounds like your busy life is still in high gear. Maybe the key to not getting the summer cold is staying out of the house, so your dd and you swimming every day may be what is keeping you free from germs. Hope you have a great visit with your nephew.
