And this makes lucky layout #13! My dd wanted to spend the day at the Aquarium of the Pacific for her sweet 16 and take part in the sea otter encounter. Oh my gosh was that so fun! All of their otters are adopted due to not being able to be released. Most were abandoned as babies. They are part of a network with Sea World San Diego and Monterey Aquarium. None of the otters are bred. Unfortunately Brooke died and then Charlie, the longest living captive sea otter died (22) recently. Charlie had a big role in helping the government set protocol and laws in regards to ocean noise pollution. I know some people are very against Sea World but they have done some very good things for rescue. They recently received 4 sea otters from Monterey area. ETA: I scraplifted the balloon idea several peas have done

That is so great to make the monthly calendar page. Now do you use that or a scan of it? I get the calendar pages printed 12x12 (one copy for each family) by the local photography shop. My LSS orders in 12x12 coilbound calendars each year with pre-printed dates for each month opposite a blank page. I glue the photocopy of the month's page on the blank page and then handwrite in birthdays and anniversaries on the calendar pages. The kids' families hang the calendars and write in their schedules each month. I keep the original page and display them month by month on a stand in the kitchen.

Left love in the Gallery for AussieMeg and 2marbles . Here are the six pages I put together this week using photos from our week in Florida. Four pages for me today. These first two are kind of a lift of your last page, craftymom101 . I tried to channel the use of 6x6 papers and your scattering of hearts and stars. Dad Love by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: Two pages created and shared (4), #1 Donna Challenge (4), #3 sun (1), scraps (2), stickers (2), #4 rectangular photos (2), #5 square pages (2), #6 June photos (4), #7 vacation photos (2), #8 celebrating DAD (2), #9 cloud die (1), #19 5x7 photos (2), #20 outdoors (1), #24 diamond papers (2) and one square on point (1), #28 one collection (2), #29 hearts and stars (10), #30 stars (2), handwriting (2), blue (2), #32 two photos (2), #36 new product (2), #41 I used a foam stamp for this (1), #52 PL cards (2), #58 6x6 (2), #76 date stamp (1), #80 Simple Stories (2), #81 inked (2). Total: 64 These next pages used several of the photos I posted on the photo thread. Celebrating ice cream, here. I wanted to do the big circle as the ice cream in a cone, and then remembered a page I had seen on Pinterest a few days ago with the cascading circle photos. Thought I had pinned it, but I guess I didn't, and now I can't find it to give it credit. Cool Treats by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Cool treats 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: two pages created and shared (4). #1 photo challenge (8), #3 scraps (2) and stickers (2), #4 rectangular photo (1), #5 square page (2), #6 June photos (4), #7 vacation photos (2), #20 outdoors at Disney (2), #21 torn edges (2), #29 hearts and stars (2), #30 stars (2), handwriting (2), #32 photos (4), #33 stickers (4), #74 fussy cut cone rim (1), #76 date stamp (1), #81 inked (2). I’m working my way down page 10 but some of these comments are for pages shared earlier that are quoted on this page. I’m a little short on time to catch up - so many neat layouts to look at. KikiPea your girls retreat title page is gorgeous. I love the colors and the clusters of flowers. Looks like a great way to start off a fun group of pages. grammadee your Animal Kingdom pages have so much on them without feeling cluttered. I love the way you were able to include so many different sizes of photos on one spread without it looking chaotic. And the title and animal die cuts are so fun. Your family calendar page is just so neat. Both the idea of making calendar pages like that, and the page itself. It looks like you had fun with a lot of different products and mixed media techniques but they don’t scream for attention/distract from the main point. They just make the page so interesting to look at. @calimom2 how cool to go visit the sea otters for a birthday party! I love the colorful balloons popping off the page and the way the “enjoy it all” banner ties to photos together. And you got a lot of journaling on the page love that. craftymom101 your layout looks like fun, so many lovely colors working together and little details to enjoy. I see your son is smiling in the photo, so hopefully the outing was actually fun (bargain paper!) and he agrees with you that it’s better to have a cool photo with a toy than to actually buy it and take it home. I like that you printed the photo in b&w. I imagine the original Joann’s background wouldn’t have been so attractive. AussieMeg I adore your hexies and your handsome boy. The colors in the photo and the page work so well together. Such pretty patterns on the hexagon pieces. I love the "glittery" frame around the page and that you used "art deco party" products for a much more everyday photo. Although Boris does seem to be a very stylish dog! But maybe that the gorgeous page talking. From previously, grammadee the Blizzard Beach and Florida Memories pages are so fun and colorful with so many smiling faces. So good to see you well represented on the Florida Memories page too. Well done for getting so many great photos into your album. Great DinoLand pages. I love your fussy cut dinosaurs. kitbop I love those papers so much and the page is great. I love the NOPE speech bubble and the puffy arrows grammadee I love how the Dad Love pages show two different moods and aspects of the relationship. The ice cream pages are so much fun. I like the cascading circles, I want to go get myself an ice cream! And the Mickey Ears on the page echoing the Mickey Ears treats in the photo works perfectly. The embellishments on both pages work so well to draw your eye through. So much fun.

Catching up on sharing some digital photobook pages that I think/hope are done, but knowing me I'll go back and tweak them some more. And one day I'll figure out a good way to show the edges of the pages more clearly - sorry the white on white makes everything look a bit floaty. As usual there's not much to comment on - I'm still working on adding fun stuff to my pages. April cover page (local park) May cover page (MIL's garden) week 19 Albers Vista gardens with MIL (In a Creative Bubble elements) week 19 photos with goats (IACB happy sunshine) week 20 gardens (lilacs, mine and the big purple rhododendron across the way, IACB element) week 21 my new clothesline (maybe I should've used the happy sun on this page!) week 22 Plastic China movie (with a FeedYourCraft pattern play background, maybe needs to spread across to the other page?)

joblackford, I am enjoying your photo book! Your photos are lovely: I can never take close up flower shots like that! And thanks for giving us a peek at your weekly adventures. Going from touring the gardens to visiting goats! Great idea to include a movie poster. I love the clean and simple design of your pages. You have added just enough little extras, yet the photos are the stars of your pages.

Here are a couple of two pagers I finished this morning. This first one I started last night, stencilling and diecutting the hexagons. Went a little crazy with them here. Too bad I hadn't included "a point for each hex" in the challenge, like AussieMeg did with her diamonds! We're HERE! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: two pages created and shared (4), #1 one photo already posted in photo challenge (2), #4 rectangular ticket and photo (2). #5 square pages (2), #6 June photos (4), #7 vacation photos (2), #9 hex dies (2), #17 stencil (2), #20 outdoor pic's (2), #30 handwriting (2), #32 photos (6), #53 polka dots (2), #58 hexes cut from 6x6 papers (2), #60 castle brad (1), #71 hexagons (2), #80 all Echo Park (4), #81 inking (2). Total: 43 And this was a quick "grab & go" page, using stuff from my Disney bin. The pages are mostly photos, so this went really quickly. The ART of WAITING by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: two pages created and shared (4). #1 one photo from photo challenge (2), #4 rectangular photos (2), #5 square pages (2), #6 June photos (4), #7 vacation pic's (2), #16 glittery title letters (1), #23 banners (2), #25 three dif fonts in title (1), #28 Echo Park (2), #30 handwriting (1), #32 three+ and two pic's (5), #52 PL card (1), #53 polka dots (2). My last layout of the month ladies. I used the last 2 sheets of photo printer paper for this layout. Stocking up next month! My dd has Asperger's and after participating in pet therapy at our Children's hospital, we saw what a huge benefit pets were to her. She has been riding since she was 6, but the horse stays at the ranch. Having a fluffy, snuggly, little dog sitting on her lap at therapy just really helped. So with the help of my parents, we bought Sadie. She just turned 5 on the 15th, but this was last years birthday celebration layout. Anyways Sadie has done wonders for my dd. And seeing the benefit for our son, we adopted a shih Tzu that is his therapy dog. At some point Sadie will be trained as a medical alert dog. Right now our focus is on dd's health. Oh and I did 4 ever (Sandlot reference) as she turned 4 this day

Also love the soft colours and patterns on the layers. The logbook/journaling pattern in the background is a nice contrast and it grounds the photo cluster nicely.

I was playing around with a new kit, 'Seasons In The Sun' by NBK Design, and came up with these two pages. (And yes, I've used those stitched seagulls THREE times this month!! ) I think I will use one of these pages as the title page for my summer album.
Points: Summer Days - 26 Seasons in the Sun - 28
