Hooray! I finished my fathers' day cards! Here is the one for my dh fathers day '19 grampa by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And the four for my sons and my son-in-law. They are not as spectacular as I had imagined they would be: kept trying to create something really fun, but ran out of time to execute the design, so ended up just grabbing masculine scraps from my stash and throwing together four pretty simple cards: fathers' day '19 the dads by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I also glued down the last elements on this companion page for The Purrfect Advice. I used ComplicatedLady 's Sketchy Saturday sketch for this. I realized yesterday evening that the jagged mountainy border at the bottom of the sketch was a great partner for the diamond shapes on the other page. purrfect advice 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr ETA Points: five cards and one page created and shared (12). #1 sketchy Saturday 01/06 (1), #2 fathers' day cards (5), #4 rectangles (6), #5 square page (1), #6 March photos (1), #9 oval die (1), #10 doodled stitches (1), #13 pearls (1), #15 dots (1), #18 butterfly (1), #24 diamond (1), #27 inking (6), #29 hearts (1). #30 woodgrain (2), #32 two photos (2), #33 stickers (8), #34 inspired by justjac (5), #39 cards will be with their recipients by Fathers Day (10), #52 PL card (1), #62 Nuvo drops (1), #63 flowers (1), #69 brads (1), #72 embossing (2), #74 fussy cutting (1). grammadee - the cards turned out great - I'm sure that the guys will like them. Guess I ought to make one for DH - no other 'dads' in my life as both my dad and FIL are long deceased Your companion page is fun with the jagged edge and the cute photos!

Linda, I like the PL style pages with the embellished cards at bottom left and top right for balance. I love the ring on the one card. That soft gold is a great background for the Party and Gifts pages. I like it with the charcoal accents and with your photos. The purple & gold page with her photo outside the school with her diploma has a really classic feel. But WOW! Love the flowery background and the pop of that yellow flower on the Parish grads page. teacherlisa, that peeled paint panel is perfect for a bbq page! Love that you got a shot of the restaurant, and that you included the details about what you ordered. gramma and hop2, I am heading over to Flickr to leave you some love there.

KikiPea, your photos of the little super hero are so cute. I love the added mask. Doodling lines around the edges really helps frame this cute page. Linda, I love how perfectly your EGRET letters match that background. Great photo. ~ That Honours Garden at your DD’s college is so beautiful. I don’t blame her for going there while waiting for a test. Such a nice way to relax. ~ LOL at Stupid Door. I’m glad you scrapped this. It will bring giggles years from now. ~ Congrats on your DD and her Academic team. It’s great that they have a way to challenge students and make it fun at the same time. Love the colors. ~ I love your Graduation page with the cap and diploma. Was the empty chair for a student, or teacher?~ The dark background on the Graduation page really makes your bright photos pop. I love the “chalk board” look of it against the gown. ~ Your pages with teachers, family and friends at graduation will be great to look back on. Your designs are always so clean and crisp! ~ Lots of great photos on Graduation Party. Your DD is so blessed to have you documenting all of this for her. You do such a comprehensive job of each event. I love it.~ Great use of the large yellow flowers against the black and white daisy background on the Honoured Graduates page. They fit together perfectly. ~That last page with “I did it” says it all. Wonderful way to preserve these special memories. joyfulnana, I had to laugh when I saw your weather page. I could make one similar. This year the seasons seem all mixed up. I love your snowy photos and the documentation of the temps. I love the soft colors of your banners. Cool (pun intended) layouts. teacherlisa, I am sorry that you suffer with RA. I think your page really expresses the feelings you have with a flare up. I’m sure this page was therapeutic. Very poignant journaling. Hugs! ~ Great pages about Monroe’s. I love the way you used photos to show the name of the restaurant. Lots of great photos and it sounds like a great place to eat. Love that bright red tone on tone polka dot background. ~ I love that barnwood background and the big seal on the Eat More BBQ layout. Your design is perfect! gramma, I love your baby album pages. Your titles are always so classy and detailed. I love the design you have used with the strips on the sides matching the titles. So many cute ideas. I love that you left the mats 4x6 for the photos to be slipped in later. This is amazing. I am making a baby board on Pinterest and want to add them. They are all so clever. grammadee, LisaDV, AussieMeg, justjac and hop2, I have left love in the gallery for your beautiful works.

Left some love in the Gallery for you, nylene . Cute title page, Linda . You have really gotten (is that a word?) your money's worth out of the Paper Crane collection! Love seeing all the images on the title page. Here are three cards I put together this morning for dh's cousins who lost their brother this week. At our age, we attend a lot of funerals, so when the LSS got in the Ella & Viv "Sympathy" collection I grabbed it up--and multiples of the cut aparts. They make condolence card making so much easier... Thinking of You by Gramma Dee, on Flickr June 4 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This will be the last creativity for me until after I get home mid month. ETA Points: Three cards created and shared (6). #3 S is for sympathy (3), #4 rectangles (3), #13 white (3), #22 watercolour pp (2), #39 cards created and sent (3), #52 cut aparts (3), #63 flowers (3), #72 embossing (3). #74 fussy cutting (3) Total: 32

grammadee - thank you - I have the remnants of the Paper Crane collection sitting on my desk as I work on this album - it'll be my last chance to use it up unless DS gets sent back to Japan in the future. I love it. Your sympathy cards are lovely - I'm sorry for the need for them. I'll have to keep an eye out for that collection.

Linda, Lindt candies are my favorites. Those varieties would be tempting. I love the way the Japanese arrange everything so beautifully in their shops. That's a great look with the offset layers and the dark circles behind. ~ Cute lunch page. I love the tiny little cat and your banners.~ I love all the right angles on your Out and About page. It really looks like skyscrapers and is the perfect design for sight-seeing. I think that's one of my favorites of your pages. ~I just noticed that I missed your cover page for the Japan album and you answered my question about the paper line. I haven't seen Photo Play around here, but I love that line. Perfect design and papers for your title page.
