For page two: Love the soft green with the grey and the circle background, Linda , on your Lindt page. Great take on the sketch. Love the blue and gold on "Lunch" and your use of banners and that cute little icon. I like those blue cs strips on the "Out & About" page: perfect with the sky in the photos. Also love that you left some white space--hard to do with the smaller format. Moving on to page three: Love the pink and yellow, KikiPea and the journaling tag tucked in the pocket. Love that you included the ephemera. And your Yokohama LO is striking, Linda . Love that blue with the water and the city skyline. I like how your white matting balances out the white title.

Sorry, I haven't been good about commenting so far. I've loved looking at everyone's work Linda wow, you're so productive I can't keep up! You must be happy to get all those graduation photos scrapped. I'm another one who loves the kokeshi doll papers on the Japan title page. I think I remember when that line first came out you were excited to use it. grammadee your sympathy cards are lovely. I'll have to take a look at the Ella & Viv collection you used. I make sympathy cards for my mother who also attends a lot of funerals these days. nylene I love the color combination you used for those snow day pages. The little snowman is so cute! teacherlisa it's great you were able to document your meal out even without photos of the food. hop2 congrats on getting your trip album started and your gift album done! I love all the colors you've used, especially that teal. justjac lovely cards! The Father's Day card is very eye catching - I love the bold font. And the luminous colors of the baby card plaid

Linda , I LOVE the blues and greys on your Nippon Mary pages! And the hit of red on the NM2 page is perfect. I always like your banners and clean lines. Adding the hexagons is a nice touch: way to mix it up a bit! heading to the Gallery to leave some love for nylene and 2marbles

I'm ashamed to admit this is my first time poking my head in here this month. KikiPea - LOL, I'd love to know more of that story! Love the funky colours to accentuate the funny picture! linda - I'm really enjoying your naval/japan layouts, great storytelling nylene - fun dino invites! My boys would have loved those. 2marbles - that looks like a wonderfully fun girls night out/party. I've never seen scooters like that! I've finally got my first layout completed. It's less story, more "I like this photo". And I never feel quite as satisfied with this type of layout because it's not as meaningful. But I do think it's pretty! I started with the "scrap the opposite season" challenge for it: layout grateful by kirstendrew, on Flickr

KikiPea - LOL, I'd love to know more of that story! Love the funky colours to accentuate the funny picture! Thanks! 😁 That pic was from a Fitness girl’s retreat back in May. That was all of the non-Prosecco bottles. There were *6* cases of that alone! Needless to say, not ALL of those were empty in 2 1/2 days. LOL The patch packaging was from a place called Girls Gone Wine. They had these patches that were really popular with the gals.

Yeah, I had to strategically place those photos....and they were taken wonky. Worked out ok to me! We're in the "dorm" phase...so i try not to be overly concerned.

OK, here goes with the sharing! These are from the Japan section of my weekly highlights photo book (each "page" is a double page spread, 5x8" each side to be printed in a blurb trade book). I was only in Japan for one week in March but of course I couldn't get everything into one spread - that would be insanity! I've been putting off making these pages because it seemed like an impossible task to choose just a few photos out of the 1068 I took. I'm not sure if I'll add more pages, probably a food one. I have one other page about the movies I watched on the plane, but I think this is a pretty good summary of the best parts of the trip. I left out all the screw ups and stress and exhaustion I used some In a Creative Bubble templates and digi-stamps/PL cards for all of these pages. (Sorry if the quality is a bit dodgy - I might've made the files a bit too small when I saved for the web.) The digital art museum we visited (I took soooo many photos) and the view over part of Tokyo from the Skytree at dusk. Next, both of the theme parks we visited in one spread. I'm probably going to need to fix this one up a bit at some point - it needs a bit more *magic* ! My favorite - the best part of my favorite shrine in Kyoto This one looks a bit weird without the page break down the middle, and looking at it again I might move the title to the left side, but that view from the train!! so lucky! And a summary of the trip with a sweet photo of my nephew and one of his highlights - vanilla ice-cream

This is a shameless lift from Shimelle's Clear the Desk class. I am so far out of my comfort zone with it, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. And this is my second layout this week which is just a miracle lol. 23 pts for this which is also the highest number of points for one page ever for me lol Sisters by Joyfulnana, on Flickr
