I just got done turning my MIL's travel photos into photo books for her for a surprise gift. The Europe one was hard because there were a lot of photos, about 500, but they were all in order, so that helped. Of course they were all crooked and badly composed, but that's a given. My MIL sees the whole world askew, IMO. The much smaller DC trip book should've been a breeze, but it turned out she hardly took any photos so she'd gotten some from another person on the trip - that meant that all the time stamps were off. So in the end that was more of a headache. Anyway, they're DONE! What a relief! And blurb had a 40% off coupon so I feel better about the cost. Yay! (And lots of points for the team!)

hop2 I am keen to do your Chance Challenge, but seeing that I use digital kits, I can't just reach into my stash and grab something! So would you please do me the honour of randomly choosing some paper for me....... choose any number between 1 and 215 (that's how many digital kits I have, and they are numbered on an Excel spreadsheet) and I will use paper from that kit. 34 YAY!!! Great choice! #34 is a new kit called Bula! that I haven't used yet - I've been dying to use it, it's perfect for tropical / beach photos. Thanks!

Today's LO....I'm impressed with myself for NOT putting my title in the upper left corner! Old habits die hard. I also have gone through my albums in the last 3-4 days (while cooking for church) and put them in order if they happened to be out, added journaling where there were post its, separated years into their own albums when they were too full. Made these two pages and now I'm going to make another couple of my title pages for the years I just sorted. Gosh, I cannot thank you ladies enough for doing these challenges because they are fun and keeping me going! Bless your hearts! I'm ashamed to admit this is my first time poking my head in here this month. KikiPea - LOL, I'd love to know more of that story! Love the funky colours to accentuate the funny picture! linda - I'm really enjoying your naval/japan layouts, great storytelling nylene - fun dino invites! My boys would have loved those. 2marbles - that looks like a wonderfully fun girls night out/party. I've never seen scooters like that! I've finally got my first layout completed. It's less story, more "I like this photo". And I never feel quite as satisfied with this type of layout because it's not as meaningful. But I do think it's pretty! I started with the "scrap the opposite season" challenge for it: layout grateful by kirstendrew, on Flickr All those colors go so well together. Such a beautiful layout

This LO is for the Sketchy Saturday May 25th challenge. It's a photo of my dog dressed in DD's football jumper (jersey). She barracks for the Bulldogs, hence the title. Points: 1 for the challenge, 1 for sharing, #3 Letter S, #4 Rectangles, #5 vSquare, #6 Stay current, #15 Dot it up, #16 All that glitters, #21 Tear it up, #26 Use a kit, #27 In stitches, #29 Keep it together, #30 Hearts & Stars (5), #31 Favourite things (10), #33 Photo Love (3), #37 New Product, #47 Stash busting (6), #49 Here kitty kitty, #54 Pattern Paper Play (2), #63 Nuvo, #64 Flower Power (3), #65 Tie it up, #70 Eyelet, #71 Tag it up, #76 Digital Love, #81 One brand (2) TOTAL = 50 points ❤❤❤❤❤ Love your layout and the dog is so stinkin cute

And back to page 3: joblackford, your travel pages are wonderful! I love the variety of photo sizes and views. Great list to summarize. I think you have captured the adventure perfectly. Linda, I love the brown/sand/blue on your ship pages. The museum LO is really striking. Love the teals and the stepped cs strips and stripey border. Think I got the rest on Flickr

More bday fun! 😁 I want to point out a few things that it seems you cannot see in this pic...There are white velum fussy cut flowers embossed in gold and pearl colored hearts in each embellishment cluster. There are twine bows on the 2 ostriches, the party bird and twine going across the banner, and I used a clear Wink of Stella pen to highlight the birds, and the word celebrate. Did a challenge: 2 Shared a LO: 2 Rock Those Rectangles: 2 Be There Or Be Square: 2 Stay current: 2 Doodle doodle doo: 12 Birthstones: 14 Dot it up: 2 All that glitters (Wink of Stella pen that you can't see): 2 Take Flight: 2 The Great Outdoors: 2 Flags and Banners: 2 Inked!: 2 Hearts, Stars, Arrows EXTRAVAGANZA: 2 Puffy Puff Puff: 9 Photo Love: 5 Sticker a polloza: 1 New Product Challenge: 10 Besties Forever: 4 Get Sketchy: 1 Happy Birthday: 2 Stash Busting Challenge: 9 Use those "project life" cards: 1 Pattern Paper Play: 4 Me time: 1 Us time: 1 Flower Power: 6 Tie It Up: 5 Tequila Sunrise: 2 Fussy Cutting: 2 One Brand: 2 TOTAL pts: 115

On to page 4: Linda , the blues are really pretty on the first couple of pages. Love how you “borrowed” journaling and typed it right on the Fuji Television” page. I like how you used the big banners as a mat on your museum page, and the pp strips (did you count the strips as things starting with “s”?) and the hit of yellow on the submersible page. The terra cotta background is a nice way to mix it up on sub 2. That photo is really sweet, craftymom101 . Love how you layered your mats and tucked in the fun little embellies. That sprinkles pp really sets the mood. KikiPea , that is a lotta love for that special ice cream pop! Love the hexagon pp and how your festive clusters lead the eye across it. @calimom2, your sports pages are really fun! I love the vertical border strips. You’ve got some happy sprinkles going on too. Is that pp or did you splatter?
