so...I meant to use hexagons for this page for the challenge but apparently I didn't count sides carefully enough because I ended up with pentagons...oh well.. lol Can you claim 5/6ths of the hexagon points? ! Lots of lovely pages of Skytree views. We stayed in a neighborhood really close to the Skytree when we went to Tokyo this year. That was lucky because the only other place I knew with amazing views (the place I stayed near 20 years ago, when the Skytree hadn't been built yet, I don't think) turned out to be all the way across town. I think my family would've been very unimpressed with me by the end of that day if I'd taken them so far away. They weren't thrilled as it was... And my nephew was having none of that glass floor nonsense!

Going to start with comments on page seven, so far, then catch up on pages 5 and 6 later. Too funny about your 5 sided hexes, Linda! But the shape you DID use has the shapes dancing across the page, so a win! Love the greys, and the horizontal mat with the vertical photo block. I like the soft background and little pagoda icon on “Views”. And great job including the brochure on the sky tower page. craftymom101, I love your boy pages. Your journaling is very sweet. Great use of the autumn palette on the Smile page. Love that cluster at the top and your title treatment. That scalloped border strip on the Nap page anchors everything perfectly, and I love the soft patterns and colours. There is love in the Gallery for nylene and AussieMeg

teacherlisa I love your 'Right Now @ Panda Express page, it is making my mouth water!! Co-incidentally, just last night I asked my MIL if she would make the Panda Express Orange Chicken recipe again. She made it once a while ago and it was delicious. She's going to do it next week for me. (We don't have Panda Express here.)

So I have an album with enlarged photos of outpost/nature stuff. I do an elated photo and a quote and that’s about it... keeping it simple.

Layout #6 for the month... My teen daughter went to Marine Biology Camp last summer and had a blast! The banner has 3 of my very old QuicKutz dies - seal, whale, and sea horse. I haven't used them in ages.

I've been MIA for a variety of reasons, fortunately most of them good. Here are a few cards I've made this month. This one is for my niece's Bridal Shower last week. When she opened the envelope she said I know who this card is from . . . My Aunt always makes such beautiful handmade cards!
Her sister graduated from Seattle Pacific University last weekend, this is her card:
I've only done one set of double page layouts . . . but I have a new ScanNCut I'm learning how to use! Do I get points for the hours of YouTube videos I am watching to learn how to use it? LOL! Might count as a class?

For this I made a page kit - started with some favourite "snow" papers and crate paper chipboard, and then looked for photos that matched (and boy, did they ever match!), even if they are 10 years old (or so. I don't have a formal date actually, that needs to be added when I look it up!) layout frosty face fun by kirstendrew, on Flickr
