ABC News...
”Pres. Trump continues criticism of London Mayor Sadiq Khan: "He should be positive, not negative. He's a negative force...He hurts the people of this great country." abcn.ws/2IkxJQN”
At a press conference with Theresa May.
I wonder if trump knows that he is a huge negative force that is hurting millions of people in this country?
Embarrassing idiot.

And Steve Mnuchin is there. I’ll bet his wife is too. Yes Mnuchin's wife is there.., and Kellyanne is on the very far left all you can see is her red sleeve. SHS is over Jared's left shoulder.

So San Francisco is voting on a plan to force the mentality ill on the street into treatment.
More details as they become available.

Teh wheels are moving forward! Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort will reportedly be transferred as early as this week to the Rikers Island jail complex in New York City, where he’ll likely face solitary confinement, The New York Times reported.Manafort, 70, will likely be arraigned on new state fraud charges and will reportedly be held in solitary confinement for his own safety, Fox News reports. He could be moved as early as Thursday. Rikers Island contains nine facilities in the state’s jail system holding 7,500 inmates, The Times reports. The Rikers jails have been said to struggle with violence and management issues. Manafort is serving a 7 1/2-year prison sentence in Pennsylvania. In September, Manafort pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges as part of a deal with prosecutors, but the Manhattan district attorney announced in March an indictment charging Manafort with 16 state felonies, such as residential mortgage fraud. President Trump has the power to issue pardons for federal crimes, but this authority doesn’t apply to state-level cases.Trump hasn’t said he’ll pardon Manafort, but he’s praised him as a “brave man," the Times reports. thehill.com/homenews/administration/446827-manafort-to-be-transferred-to-rikers-island-may-face-solitary

There are many reasons people are on the street - and this is ONE of them. Now, to find money to help house these people in well-staffed well-maintained facilities.

I suppose I'm one of the infantile Americans who cannot look at Melania with anything but disgust and embarrassment for our nation. I picture her early days in our country, doing subpar "modeling" (soft porn shoots) for tidbit agencies. I wonder how the hell she got that Einstein visa and how she wormed her way here, and now she's our First "Lady". I just picture her harsh no surgical looks, holding her vagina, posing totally nude. Sorry, but i don't give a damn how decent she might appear to look now, because it all seems like she's studying and trying to look the part of a demure and decent First Lady. I have no patience for her, just as I have no shots to give about any Kardashians. None of them can or will change and I long for the days of a supremely intelligent and caring First Lady, like Michelle Obama. Rant over. You know, on the surface I have no issue with her soft porn shoots. Not a decision I would make, but whatever, you do you she wasn’t hurting anyone. It’s her body, if she wants to share those kinds of photos more power to her. I have a serious problem with her “Einstein” Visa, and that she is being held up as a paragon of virtue, a symbol of class and an excellent First Lady while the most recent First Lady was torn to shreds by these same people. Not only was Melania not very accomplished in her own right before the WH, she’s not done much as a First Lady either. I should have made it clear: I really have no problem with soft porn either, BUT when your 'husband' is deciding to run for the Presidency, then they both should have been scared shirtless of their very, very stained pasts haunting them. Instead they deny it and pretend to be holier than thou, and intelligent at that. That is what irks me. We have rules about people running for the Presidency. I think that they seriously need to be updated an amended so that people like this scumbag cannot even be a consideration. How about restricting those whom have had sexual and criminal lawsuits against them? The fact that he's ripped off the hard working (gullible) U.S. people shd preclude him from running. And his wife's Einstein visa should have been scrutinized before he ran. I have my own beliefs about her being planted here by Russia and that she's an agent for Russia (timeline fits). It's just unreal to me that we, as a country, with this scam artist, somehow let him slip in. His wife and her entire background just irks me.

nd that she is being held up as a paragon of virtue, a symbol of class and an excellent First Lady while the most recent First Lady was torn to shreds by these same people. Not only was Melania not very accomplished in her own right before the WH, she’s not done much as a First Lady either. That is what bugs me about her, too. I don't care that she did "soft porn" or anything else. But good grief, the people in my world, like my mother, who say that she is the classiest first lady we have had since Jackie Kennedy make me want to barf. Along with the people who say things like the Trumps have brought class back to the WH. My mother also thinks Michelle Obama is the worst first lady we have ever had. I asked her once what exactly is so wonderful about Melania? What exactly has she done? Her answer was "they" won't let her do anything. Not sure who they is. She says the media treats her terrible, worse than any other first lady. LMFAO. I reminded her of how Michelle was raked over the coals because she wore a sleeveless dress. She was compared to a monkey. People have accused her of really being a man. All my mom said in response was they still treat Melania worse.

@just T they know exactly how to spin their brand. Personally, I believe that Mark Burnett is one of their biggest helpers in that department. So they spun Melania into this poor, abused wife role so that people will cheer her on when she does the most nominal, routine things!!!!! She's good at trying to look like famous people who are thought highly of. She thinks that by merely attempting to replicate their style, it'll work, and it does!!!! So many people talk about how beautiful or great she looks, as though it's an accomplishment. Sorry, but, back it up with real actions. She does nothing!! How our citizens find her to be acceptable is beyond me. It's disgusting!!
I wish that your mom and the country would realize all that Michelle Obama did for our country. She's a truly intelligent and kind person who tried to use her platform for positive change. Sorry, but this current bitch uses it for trying to look the part with no real work put in. Let's hear more about her anti-bullying ideas. They went nowhere and people read into it to mean that she was speaking out about her husband's behavior. Nope. Just do your job, come up with your own words and ideas, follow up on them and truly try to make a change. Ugh!!

It’s a slippery slope. Don’t get me wrong, some of the homeless I walked by everyday had some sort of mental illness that even my untrained eye could see, and I would think what can we do to help them. But forcing them, violating their rights, is that the way to go? And would it stop there?

He can forget this little wish. The National Health is not for sale and no politician that would even half suggest it here. They would be hanging themselves at a blink of an eye lid.
He's also taking through the top of his hat in saying any trade deal could be phenomenal. From what I understand by someone who was interviewed here yesterday, he doesn't get to make that decision, it's up to both houses to approve trade deals, apparently.

It doesn’t matter if hundreds of photos and videos of protests are published; he’ll still assert they’re all fake news. For a country already reeling from such a fraught Brexit, it’s inconceivable that this event even occurred to begin with. I understand that every country, at one point or another, regards statesmanship to include what journalists call “greasing the wheels of statecraft,” but how could anyone have thought this state visit with all its attendant pomp and honor was a brilliant idea? How can someone so fetid be so feted?

I agree with a lot of what you said...but again, I don’t think the term “stained pasts” should refer to her type of modeling. That’s the impression I got from your posts, I’m sorry if I’m misreading it. I just don’t think she can be held up as a “paragon of virtue” and “classy”...especially in direct comparison to Michelle.

How could he possibly pass this on as fake news? The man doesn't live on the same planet as the rest of us. Because his base will believe it, or pretend to. This is all to keep them riled up for the next election.

How can someone so fetid be so feted? I would imagine they started planning it as soon as Theresa May gave him the invitation when she visited the WH. These things take months and months and months of planning and the date was probably set to coincide with the 75th memorial of D day but only confirmed to the public much later after most of the plans were in place. Brexit hadn't then gone to such a stalemate as it is now.

But forcing them, violating their rights, is that the way to go? And would it stop there? I’m not sure how I feel about this, it’s the first I’ve heard about it so I haven’t had time to let it marinate. But something that strikes me is that my husband can have me temporarily placed in a facility for my safety or that of others, right? Being homeless is super unsafe. And truthfully, I’m glad he can. I haven’t needed that, but I can see how my type of illness could make it necessary. And knowing that when you’re so mentally unwell that you can’t even take care of yourself enough to keep a roof over your head? That is on the far end of the scale of not well. And it is possible/likely they don’t even understand the connection since they are not medicated. Getting them in treatment, temporarily (but not just a few days), getting them medicated and then having an excellent group of resources ready to help them move forward could make all the difference. I do get the slippery slope argument. And I even see the violating their rights argument. And in many ways, I agree with them. But knowing nothing short of a serious intervention will help them...

Thatcher floated the idea of cutting back the Nhs in her day but her cabinet told her it was a non starter. Trump can demand whatever he wants, WE need to worry about the Tories who would see no problem with it. Just have a look at who has already said no way, no how (Raab, Hancock, Stewart) and those who have yet to say anything. I don't trust the Tories with the nhs. They will only do the right thing if impacts their hold on power. Hunt was in charge of the Nhs for long enough and now is looking for the leadership. He should be answering questions on the Tories intentions.

If the Brits think that the NHS will be carved out of a Trump trade deal because the US cannot force the privatization of a public service, they haven’t been paying attention. When Trump says everything is on the table, no one should think he isn’t serious. No one should also assume that our US Congress will do anything to stop that – at least, not while our Senate is in GOP control. Everyone will huff and puff, but no one in his party will go against him. The protection against this happening is fully dependent on the Brits, not the Americans.

You mean the UK has a copy of our Declaration of Independence from them on display? I did not know that and think it’s neat.
Of course she wasted her time pointing it out to trump since he doesn’t understand the concept of what it means and why it was written in the first place.

"The 5 adult wealthy Trump children, 3 do not work for the Admin, are staying in a luxury London hotel costing tax payers $56K per night." why are we taxpayers paying for his children (who do NOT work in the WH administration) to essentially vacation with him? I can sort of see it if they're WH employees accompanying him on a state visit (if they're actually NEEDED for some reason), but not any of the rest of them. And all the rest of them- Is there any reason the Sec. Treasury (and his wife) had to go along? Are they talking money policy? (Besides the obvious, I mean: 'hey, look at me, I'm so important all these people had to come with me; look at the size of my entourage") One THOUSAND people?!? Really?!?!? You know what they say about a man who goes everywhere with a huge entourage, after all... he has a big... ...inadequacy complex. lol. (not that DT could even *spell* the word entourage, but...) ALL of the people who whined INCESSANTLY about how much $$$ the Obamas cost the taxpayers can STUFF.IT.
