Thanks Olan! I am excited that Ava Duvernay has created this show about that horrific incident. I plan to watch it but know it will be enraging. What happened to those boys was such a huge miscarriage of "justice" Have you watched it? |

I need to be in a pretty good mental space AND have some down time so who knows when stars will align! Hope everyone is fighting the good fight and enjoying their summer |

A Central Park Five documentary was part of my Criminology class. Definitely going to watch this one.

I need to be in a pretty good mental space AND have some down time so who knows when stars will align! Hope everyone is fighting the good fight and enjoying their summer I tried to watch it the other night and I didn't have enough emotional/ mental/physical energy to do it. I'm a white woman trying to learn as much as I can about issues of race and my privilege, etc, and if I need to be strong enough to watch it, I can only imagine how strong you and other PoC need to feel to take it on. However, it is important viewing and I wish everyone in the U.S. would watch it. |
