...but I HAD to because of the Spellbinders small die of the month subscription this month. Look at how cool these kaleidoscope trio dies are! Of course, since I blew it today, I went ahead and ordered a few more things from Spellbinders... I’m also blaming the hexagon die purchase on the need to meet the June 8 Sketchy Saturday challenge! Ok, enough whining and self pity. I’m adjusting my tiara, bushing the dust off, standing up straight again, and getting back on the freeze track tomorrow.

Haha, if you're going to shop you may as well shop some more! It's all good. Start over again tomorrow.
I actually did the same thing the other day. I figured once I placed a (somewhat necessary) order at scrapbook.com that I may as well spend a bit of my SSS gift card (I got one for myself to get a bonus card last month, and now I'm making one purchase a month to get their loyalty rewards, which may be a false economy, but oh well). I got some word dies which I hope will be really well used - I have a card project in mind for them right away.
Those dies are pretty cool. I love the circle one and there were some neat hexagon examples too. Looking forward to seeing your hexie results!

Good job keeping all your shopping to one day, ComplicatedLady. And good job tempting the rest of us, so we all fall off the wagon—or out of the freezer—together! I LOVE those June mini dies. If I could have figured out how to order just that set without subscribing I may have already had them on the way to me!

I came THISSSS close to caving yesterday. I had to remind myself it's only for a month, I can shop in July lol. ComplicatedLady those dies are so cool, I would have had a hard time resisting! I don't have a manual die cutter. I think about it, but I know that would be a whole new spending rabbit hole! grammadee isn't it crazy how tempting it is when one person shops to do a little yourself? And once I get started all bets are off lol

Then I saw them, and tried to ignore them. Then I had to go back and look at them again. Then I looked to see if I have any hexagons and I don’t. So I caved. I’m so weak. At least I was able to resist subscribing to anything beyond the small die of the month!

Can you just buy this month's kit or do you have to subscribe?

It's like cheating on your diet. It happens and you still have all of the other days to be proud of.

Can you just buy this month's kit or do you have to subscribe? I think I can subscribe and then either cancel or skip, but I’m a sucker for monthly kits!

I saw Jennifer McGuire has a video with the fancy little hexagon dies. I'm not going to watch. I've resisted the temptation once, I'm not going to play with fire.

lol. I went to Tuesday Morning and bought a few things one day and then since I had already purchased something went and bought a couple of digi kits. I figured if I'm going off the wagon I may as well jump all the way off. But you don't have to use a hexagon for the June 8th sketchy Saturday, you can substitute and change as much as you like. I shouldn't have looked at those dies though. Now I'm thinking I may go off the wagon again. They're really adorable.

LisaDVI believe so—as long as it isn’t sold out. Apparently I’m not the only one who couldn’t resist. It says available June 1-30. I ordered mine on June 10th and it arrived yesterday. As far as this: I’m sticking to my story that I HAD to have a hexagon because of that sketch. The end.

I've liked several of their past months. If that's your story, I support it 110%.

I am stopping at Scrapbooking Fanatics on Monday to pick up my June kit (doesn’t count b/c I am already subscribed) and some glue (doesn’t count b/c it’s a necessity). But she has so many pretties in her store that I can’t guarantee I won’t buy something else...

I think I have bought things on four different days: stickers at Michaels before I knew there was a challenge, then this collection by Paper Phenomenon (isn't it gorgeous!) and some of Heidi Swapp's Wolf Pack because then I got free shipping, then some digi kits that were on sale because they were going to be retired, and then an album because I needed to put away layouts. I have a million excuses.
Meanwhile I haven't shopped on the other 13 days...

Meanwhile I haven't shopped on the other 13 days... 15 days shopless for me as of yesterday... Picked up a couple of paper packs and some letter stickers with my kits. Forgot to ask her about white cs which I am almost out of.

I actually went into Tuesday Morning and got out without buying a thing! And it was right after they had unloaded the truck too.
I think I'm at 2 days of shopping this month (one day was just a font) but I might need to place an order for some papers this week.

I caved yesterday and ordered a Wild Hare kit for July. They offer a "curated" kit, and actually ask a bunch of questions about style and product & colour preferences. Don't know what came over me, other than that I had just paid off my credit cards from my trip so I was feeling less financial pressure! I am usually pretty safe from spending when I am at home. All my other purchase days (just 3) have been the ones when I was near a LSS &/or an M's. But last night my computer got me!

I had to buy some supplies for a custom card order and to restock some papers that I need for other cards in progress, and I figured I should make the most of the shipping cost and buy as much as possible without buying stuff I didn't need (a hard balance!) so I ended up buying about $90 worth of paper! That's a lot for me, so I should be good for a long time. I also placed an amazon order for adhesive (which I know doesn't actually count) and threw in some of the makeup brushes for ink blending. I ended up with green clouds the other day thanks to my single (not very good) Tim Holtz brush >.< so I'm going to dedicate one to blue inks only. I'm up to 4 days of shopping for the month, which I think is pretty good

I got home from the beach yesterday and as I was catching up on some board reading, I saw the Kelly Purkey shells and sand dollar stamps—which I **had** to buy. I probably could’ve waited two days but what if they sold out in that time?? I wasn’t willing to take that risk. I also got her California stamp since we were at the beach in Southern California. Since I was shopping already, I figured I may as well grab a couple more things. Then I went to bed so I didn’t shop anywhere else.
So, for this month, I’ve only shopped two days. That might be a record for me. I think last month there were only two days that I DIDN’T buy anything...
