What are your favorite pens for PL if you're writing directly on the cards? I don't do PL every week, I tend to do it for events instead, and I'm still just starting out, but I found my favorite pens are felt tipped ones because everything else seems to take so long to dry. I bought several LePens, a few Staedtler pens and I just bought a set of Papermate Flair pens (I haven't use them yet, but I heard good things) because they're felt tipped and I knew would work well with the cards. Are there any particular pens that you've found that work well without a long drying time, besides felt tip or ballpoint? (I smeared a lot of writing before I decided to stick with felt tip.)

I use the Papermate Flair pens. I've tried the becky higgins and other random brands and the Flair pens are my favorite. They are so much easier to write with. I feel like the Becky Higgins pens don't glide at all and my writing ends up looking awful.

I have carpal tunnel, so the more glide, the less I have to grip the pen.

I have the Pilot G2 pens, they are a gel pen, but I don't find they take long to dry. I am a lefty and have always had trouble with smearing. I have had this set of pens which come in a variety of colors for almost 3 years and all the pens are great. My grandma bought them for me for Christmas because I commented on her set, she was using them to color little intricate sun catcher type of pictures. This is the set I have: www.samsclub.com/sams/g2-20-pack-assorted-gel-pens/prod13050143.ip?navAction=

I use the G2's at school all of the time. Hadn't thought of using them or scrapping.

I LOVE the Sharpie PEN (not the permanent markers). The only time one didn't work for me was because the cap came off in my purse and had dried out. I have a ton around my house. Leaves a nice crisp line, no bleeding or color chang over time like the Sharpie Markers.

AC's Slick Writer dries really quickly and they work on photos, too. But my favorite is the Zig Millennium because of the fine point. I don't recall it smearing either.

I like the Sharpie pens too... I tried a black one and loved it so much that I went back and bought a set that has red, green, blue, turquoise, pink, etc in it... I prefer to keep my writing all in black, but they work so well that it was worth it to buy the set for the odd times I want a different colour...

I use the Sharpie pens (not markers) also. I agree that something felt tip is the way to go. I know that the Precision pens are also popular though. I also like that the Sharpie pens are easy to find--can pick one up at the grocery store, etc. so don't have to remember to order them.
