I celebrated my kids moving up form elementary school to MS/HS with a trip for ice cream. I think it’s important to recognize these milestones, but not necessarily with gifts. What about something like a prayer card of his confirmation saint? Or maybe the student prayer? I’ll look that one up for you. I teach confirmation and that was one I encouraged my students to use a lot. ETA: This is the one that we used. I printed up my own prayer cards for the kids, but there are several online sources for prayer cards. Just search “Student’s Prayer Saint Thomas Aquinas”. A Catholic bookstore may carry it, but I’d call ahead.

He graduated with high honors and received two scholarships towards his high school education.

He graduated with high honors and received two scholarships towards his high school education. Good for him! I put the link in my original post. He likely has all the rosaries/bibles/plaques that he can use from his First Communion and Confirmation. Another thought is a tie pin from his saint. I found an antique one for DS for his Confirmation and it was a unique gift.
