I needed to make some thank you cards and I had some circle stamps. I threw in the washi and sequins to earn more points!
Thanks

Ah, those are wonderful! I might have to get inspired by your version and add MOAR to mine I like the rainbow color paper you used as a mat behind the main panels. Is that patterned paper? Or did you make something yourself with ink blending?

Or did you make something yourself with ink blending? It is patterned paper. Some is from an old Maggie Holmes line (Flourish?) that I had in 8 1/2 by 11. Some is from an Ella and Viv line that had clouds and rainbows and feathers.

haha, I have been using a bunch of Ella and Viv watercolor patterned papers for matting some of my other rainbow cards! I tried ink blending for the matting on the inspiration card above but it was too much effort for me for the big batch of cards I ended up doing. I guess I'll stick with Ella and Viv! http://instagram.com/p/BysgzV6gGNQ

Loving *all* the rainbows! I have stamps that would work for this (fireworks) but it's so much work to pull out the inks and clean the stamps in between...
Beautiful to both of you!

It's much more worth the hassle if you make a LOT of cards in one session. (And put an album, audiobook or show on!) I worked on a giant pile of card fronts at one time. I also did some down the center of a bigger piece of card and then cut them down the middle. I used distress oxides and stamped all the cards in one color, then stamped off onto cardboard, gave them a good swipe with my "stamp shammy." Then I'd set that stamp aside for a few moments to dry and move onto a different stamp and color. Trying to balance the shapes and colors was a bit of a pain though.

Love the original, joblackford, and the lift, justjac. Now I want to give this a whirl. I don't have that stamp set, but I think I have a CTMH set with fireworks on it that might work for something similar. I also have a Vicki Boutin stencil with what looks like coffee rings and splatters on it that could mimic the rings... I think I might just stencil and stamp up a whole 12x12 white cs, then cut off sections for cards as I needed them. Why do I always bubble with creative mojo when I have no time to act on it? Will dream about this while I am out in the garden pulling weeds.
