So my 18 year old daughter has been working at this day care in the area it is licensed by the state. Her 1st pay check bounced. The next 3 have been late a week late.
She supposed to be paid tomorrow and was told today she won't get paid till next week.
I recently she is looking for another job this is happening for all the employees that work there.
I just googled the reviews of this place and there been 3 employees that have made comments about how she does not pay her employees on time.
Besides quitting obviously until my daughter finds a new job is there anything she can do in the meantime to guarantee that she gets paid on time. I can't find a law regarding this only for the final pay check.

No, I don't believe there is anything she can do. She should cut her losses and quit because it likely won't get better.

Actually, they are legally required to pay her regularly and on time. She needs to file a complaint with the Federal Department of Labor.

I also would file complaints with the state DOL and the dept of licensing for day care centers.
