At least these people put some design work into parting us from our money! They are white bristled, rainbow colored, all one size (not too big, not too small) with a brush for each color group, have a nicely designed caddy, and are apparently $50 -eek! It also sounds like the site is having a hard time coping with demand based on IG and YT comments. http://instagram.com/p/BzI0aYiJkMa

This brush size is exactly what I'm looking for, but the price may be, well, a bit pricey. Maybe I need to sell a few more things first!

I LOVE that these are in rainbow color handles and all large sizes but I’m sorry, $49 is ridiculous. I got mine from amazon for $8.99. I’m gonna try to resist until some generic ones come out.

Too expensive but way better than having a bunch of sizes that no one will use and having the colored handles is nice. Still, too expensive.

I think they're cute with the color coded handles. But not $50 cute. A label on the handle works fine for me.

I appreciate that they at least put a little effort into making these more user friendly and I do like the spinning stand. But I have a really similar stand that I paid less than $5 for (mine doesn't spin, though, and the holes are different sizes to accommodate the different size brushes). Still too much $$ when there are so many other lovelies that I can't get for 1/5 the price.

Well, so definitely a better deal than a bunch of brushes you don’t need. I actually think it’s a good value if you use these style brushes a lot.
Apparently they are all sold out, so very popular!

Maybe they'll go on sale after the novelty has worn off a bit. Do any big box stores sell Taylored Expression brand products?

I like my smaller ones I got in my mixed set on amazon. It really allows you to add shading etc. These are super cute though.

I agree that the smaller ones are nice for certain things. But if you want a bigger one for each color family, you'll end up with a LOT of small ones if you buy that many sets.

The ones I got from Amazon seem to clean really easily and not hold on to ink, so I hadn't planned on having different ones for different colours.

My only issue is that when I do a blended background, I'm usually using at least 4 different colors. So if you clean them you have to wait for them to dry in between, right? I tried cleaning and then using one of those clarity brushes. I thought it was dry since it sat for at least a day and a half but apparently not and it streaked like crazy.

And the price doesn't even include the caddy. How very nice of them.

I watched a Youtube video with someone using an Amazon make up brush and blending 4 colors on a project using one brush - pink, green, blue/turquoise and grey. She only wiped the brush on a paper towel between colors and there was very little, if any, color left behind. It looked like the grey left the most but even that was very minimal. And there was no color transfer. If that's how they truly behave, I see no reason for washing between colors.

I want the set. I find With DIstress oxides I have to wash them between each use and they take forever to dry

It's too much money for me but I was a lot more tempted by these than the PF ones that look exactly the same as the cheap versions on amazon.

Way too pricey for me though they are extremely adorable. I had to reel myself back in and realize I was getting caught up in the fact that they were so pretty. I’m going to try some brown handled ones from AliExpress that are only .50 each. They look more like the Life Changing Brushes. I can always paint them. Haha i think I’d prefer a rectangle shaped holder in order for it to fit better on my craft table. The round shaped holder is nice but I’d need more than what would fit in it anyway.

Well, even though I refused to pay this much for the PF brushes, and ordered a set of Yoseng from amazon instead which I like very much, I buckled and ordered these. I can tell Taylor really put a lot of thought into the design, and they just checked all the boxes for me - these are the size that I use the most, and I usually blend Oxide inks, which really linger on the bristles even after a good wipe on a towel. I don't want to have to wash and wait for it to dry to finish my project. Plus I love the white bristles and colored handles; I splurged and got the caddy too so I could get the 'egg' cleaner free. I think that will work much better at getting any excess ink out when the brushes need cleaned instead of just squishing them on my hand.

I think that will work much better at getting any excess ink out when the brushes need cleaned instead of just squishing them on my hand. I agree that Taylor justified the price a lot better (for me) than PF did, by actually designing the brushes to meet specific crafter needs (even if one of those needs is for pretty rainbow colored things!) I was thinking about them and the video Taylor posted yesterday when I did some ink blending with the palest blue oxide ink to make a sky. Instead of fluffy blue clouds I got fluffy green clouds! DOH! I forgot that I'd last used the brush on yellow, and obviously hadn't done a good job of cleaning it. It took a bit of damp paper towel cleaning (because I didn't want to wash and wait) and 3 more greenish skies to get a blue one. I thought I might just say that the Andean sky behind my llama was misty green, but that sounded like a pretty lame excuse for my laziness. Anyway, now I'm tempted. At the very least if I decide to get the Amazon makeup brushes instead I think I should dedicate one to blue skies.

I think if I decide to get some more larger size brushes I’d just get one of the smaller sets on offer from Amazon.

The brushes sold out, which means that they were not overpriced for the market. She came up with a great idea. Unless it is patented, I expect a cheaper knock off within a year.

You can purchase small sets of larger ones on Amazon. This week I bought a set of two, one XL and one LG for about 7. for the two. The brand name is Beautique and they look and act like the Yoseng set I have. My plan is to own about six of the big ones and label the handles with a color dot. I just tack them on to my latest Prime order.
Someone mentioned cleaning. When I rub these off on a paper towel after using them with oxides very little color comes off. I like the idea of the TE brushes and would consider them if I didn’t have others. The colored handles are a plus.

I think I'll wait and see if they go on sale someday. I like the idea of all uniform sizes and having one for each color family.

Their price is ridiculous (especially since it doesn't include the stand). I just bought some brushes around the same size for 97 cents each on AliExpress and some covers for them for 35 cents. When they get here I am going to apply solid colored washi tape to the lids and handles and keep them in some sort of cute bucket or mason jar.
