Their price is ridiculous (especially since it doesn't include the stand). I just bought some brushes around the same size for 97 cents each on AliExpress and some covers for them for 35 cents. When they get here I am going to apply solid colored washi tape to the lids and handles and keep them in some sort of cute bucket or mason jar. I had no idea these were on Ali express. I just ordered the big sizes for 92 cents each! Thanks for the tip!

Dollarama has the brushes now. The size shown here by taylored expression is $3 each. They have the smaller ones in a set for $4

I like the look of the brushed. If money were no object, they would be jumping into my cart.

Cute idea but I will stick with my cheapo makeup brushes for now.

And the price doesn't even include the caddy. How very nice of them. It doesn't? Holy crap those are overpriced. It wouldn't be a reasonable deal even with the caddy included. >_O Their price is ridiculous (especially since it doesn't include the stand). Get yourself some enamel paint or outdoor acrylic and you can just paint stripes on the handles or the back of the head if you want more permanent colour coding. Should be able to afford a wagonload of paint with that 40$ you saved!

I stamped, punched and glued a small colored dot on the back of each one. The colored ones are cute but not that cute. Yeah paint works.

I have a devil of a time finding anything on Ali Express.

Stamp Market came out with individual brushes yesterday. They are white and the price averaged around 3.50 or so. They are on sale for a few days also.

I bought these on impulse from a local scrapbook store, I'm in LOVE! Yes they are expensive but I love the colors are obvious and they blend like a dream. I can definitely see where getting some smaller brushes for more intricate stencils would be helpful.

I understand why crafters are attracted to this pretty set, but the prices these companies are charging is highway robbery! $50!?!? IMO, this is what’s wrong with this industry.
The couple of sets I ordered off Amazon were 7-$8 each and gave me plenty of the larger sizes. I use them all the time and they’re still in like new after more than a year.

I bought the ones on Amazon for about $12, and they are really nice. Well, at least the original "inventor" isn't suing everyone who's making their own version.
