I finished two 8.5x11 Halloween layouts just now. I used the last two 6x6 Halloween paper pad sheets, most of a Halloween sticker sheet, and realized I have zero fall/Halloween PL cards left. Oh, and I used a spider web border punch. Ooh, I love that feeling when I finish up collections/stash items! Good for you Not much creating going on here. I've been fighting the urge to take a nap and knitting rather than scrapping. I feel lazy today so I'm just going to go with it lol. Knitting is creating! I know for me I go through phases where all I want to do is scrapbook and other times I want to focus on knitting, cross-stitch or quilting. I just go with my urge... it's all crafting, it's all for fun, and eventually I will feel like working on the other projects again! I love using up stash too! Gets me all giddy. 😁

I’ve been scrapbooking most of the day! I finished a layout I started last night and started a new one.
I’m still working on my Disney 2011 album (will I ever finish?!) and I love the layouts I’ve made so far.
For those of you who have made Disney layouts, are all of your pages somewhat themed? I have photos of my kids on Tom Sawyer island and nothing about the photos looks Disney. I also have some family photos in the park that don’t look Disney. For those pages I’m not including Disney products on the page. Maybe I should find some wood veneer Mickey heads or another subtle embellishment to add to those pages?

For those of you who have made Disney layouts, are all of your pages somewhat themed? Nope, not at all. I scrap using whatever supplies I think best fit the photos/story/memory of the page. I've added Mickey heads to some pages (I think EK Success did a pack of black/white/grey/red that kind of looked like enamel dots which I used a lot) but I figure the location in the album should make it clear those pages are all part of the Disney trip.

I always at least put a Mickey head somewhere (sort of a hidden Mickey thing), often tiny, like out of bling or enamel dots, a small stamp, EK punch, or even larger Mickey head embellishments. I don’t think every page has to be screaming Disney theme, but I do like the Mickey somewhere. Please share your pages! I have several incomplete Disney albums and always enjoy more inspiration!

I never worry if the pages in my albums all have the same colour schemes or themes. Not all my WDW pages had Disney elements. I used zoo products for Animal Kingdom; dinosaur pp for Dinoland... for Tom Sawyer pic’s I would go all rustic or fishing/camping/outdoor. If you have 3 wood dots to add a Mickey head, fine. If not, those pages can stand alone. I am assuming your title and/or journaling will give location.

This has been a reasonably productive weekend for me and I've finally finished my 2018 month in review album, knocking out the last 6 pages today. I'm out of mojo (and time) for the weekend but I hope if it's still your weekend you find some time to create.

ComplicatedLady, every little bit does count!! Great job! craftymom101, does this mean your crafty mojo is back? Hurray! Chinagirl828, Happy Sunday to the northern hemisphere. I think I’ll finish my double pager that’s up on the computer from yesterday. Then I have to help get the trailer packed and the family gone so that will eat up a good chunk of my day, but I should have the evening to create. Yay me! I have 5 additional pages prepped as ones I wanted to get finished this weekend, so we’ll see if I can knock them out before bed today.

Did a little organization of the kid-type papers (school stuff, scouts, events, etc.)
Got it down to a stack of about 13", got a lot of it into 8.5x11 page protectors (multiple pages/protector). Now have to find some nice binders.

Hello! I'm jealous of those of you who were creative yesterday! But today is my day. I cancelled my plans with our friends (I sent DH and DD to their place and stayed home) so I'm free to play! I'm honestly thinking of clearing off my kitchen (aka computer) table and scrapping here by daylight.
Yes, that sounds good. Off to "make it so"!

Hellllloooo scrappers (etc).... Sounds like you have been productive! I was not able to check in as I wished because a) wow...busy exciting place! and b) I was super frustrated with the wifi/bluetooth situation at the venue, but got it figured out. I did win two door prizes...a small tin that is used for greeting cards, filled with three sets of SU stamps, and $25 worth of my choice of CTMH stuff. I got a lovely kit, some CS and some enamel dots. grammadee I'm glad you are home and feeling better. I wonder what that is! Stayed home to be with the tooth girl while the others went to church. Its also crop unpacking day. I'm wiped out. I stayed last night to pack up the grange where we had the crop. The lady that runs the charity sponsor is so kind and wonderful, but she also has a cracked hip that she is supposed to let heal! I know she is too stubborn to do so...so her whole family helps out and her lovely board members and some of us volunteers. I was home by 11 where my DD21 helped me unload the car. I got 11 pages done, spent some time outside the house (I've been housebound for a bit due to trouble with DH's truck, he takes my car to work often), had some wonderful food, but now back to the way I should be eating. DD's bf is coming over after church so I need to get my show on the road. My LOs will continue to arrive in the Flickr gallery, I need to retake some, I would share some pictures of us (me) from the evening but I swear I look drunk!

@zingermack, I admire you! Kid memorabilia may be my downfall in the end, actually all memorabilia. I try to be good with it. However, it all tends to end up into large totes that I’ll go through one of these days. Really good job getting it organized!! Good for you, kitbop!! We all need a little time now and then. 2marbles, those sound-like lovely prizes. Congrats. Woo Hoo for 11 pages completed!! Not drunk, just giddy from all that glue being used. I just finished my 2pager. DH was ready to start working on the trailer way sooner than I anticipated this morning. They just left about 45 minutes ago, a lot later than I had anticipated since DH said they’d be taking off early Sunday. Breathing a sigh of relief that I can enjoy some responsibility free time and a bit sad that they’re gone as well. How can I feel both at the same time?? Weirdo, I know. I have dropped those 5 layouts I still hoped to finish this weekend to 2 as I plan to go veg out for an hour or two before sitting at the computer.

Just checking in for a few minutes. We went berry picking this morning. A little quiet time now, but we are having extended family for supper. Meat is in the portable oven on the deck, but in 30 minutes or so I will need to start putting the rest of the meal together. We have had a busy couple of days. Good job organizing, @zingermack ! I had tubs of school projects and artwork toted to two different homes, then spend 30 years in boxes in the basement. I just went through all that stuff last spring, chucked what didn't mean anything any more, sorted the rest into 4 piles, one for each of the kids, and handed them each a box of photos and a bag of other memorabilia. They actually each had fun going through their packages and sharing memories. They took their packages home. No idea what will happen to them, but that is their choice. Hope you get lots of creating done in the space and time you have carved for yourself, LisaDV and kitbop . Can't wait to see the results of your crop, 2marbles . Sad that your weekend is over, Chinagirl828 and AussieMeg . Have enjoyed seeing all your pages in the Gallery. Off to sneak a very short lie-down.

grammadee, I hope you did get a little rest. I know I say I'm going to sit a minute but a zillion other things grab my attention and before you know it those few minutes I had evaporate, so I hope you didn't let that happen. I finished my 2 pages and uploaded them to the July team sharing thread as well as their respective other threads. whew! I'm glad I got all of DD's birthday pages completed. I'm now thinking of making dinner and possibly watching a movie. I will craft again tomorrow I'm sure. I also want to do some house cleaning.

grammadee, berry picking, entertaining??? That doesn't sound like resting much. I hope you are feeling better. I'm so sorry you missed the crop with justjac. Enjoy the family today instead. LisaDV, I'm sorry your brushes and ink are in different places. That's exactly what would happen to me if I lived between 2 places. I hope you have an enjoyable time by yourself. I hope DD is ok without you. 2marbles, I think 11 layouts sounds like a great accomplishment. Congrats on the prizes. How's the wisdom teeth girl doing today? I gave up my usual Sunday afternoon nap to finish the wedding cards that I cut pieces for until the wee hours. I don't usually stay up late, but once I started cutting I didn't want to stop. I spent the afternoon putting them together. I have a bunch more with partially cut pieces that I plan to send to my DD who asked for a few while she was here in June. They probably won't get finished during the LCC because DH and I have an Addiction Recovery fireside tonight. I am also working on a baby layout of our new GGD. I picked up some $ store stickers yesterday that should work well on it.

Enjoy the family today Oh I didn’t miss the IRL crop with justjac: that is this upcoming weekend. Dd and the little man are leaving in the morning. Dsil left this evening to be sure he can meet the i packers at 8:30 in the morning I had planned to drive up to their home tomorrow, then home Tuesday, and head to Calgary Thursday or Friday. But now plans have changed, so I have Monday & Tuesday at home, then drive to dd’s on Wednesday morning, and on to Calgary on Thursday. Saves me one round trip. My plan is to rest Monday, then spend Tuesday packing for the crop. Sticking with camping and road trip themes so I can scrap dd’s family’s adventures this summer. Taking a minimum of tools and extras, a few inks, but no wet media. Will be printing most of the pic’s on the way.

grammadee, that sounds like a good plan. I'm glad you will have a couple of days of rest before going again. hop2, wow! You accomplished a lot! Congrats! Plus you reminded me I wanted to do a Happy Birthday banner for my family birthdays. nylene, your cards are beautiful. Definitely worth a bit of lost sleep, but I hope you get to catch up on the sleep today. DD just went to bed after getting home (her typical m.o.). We shall see how she does today. Our cat seems to be the one needing the attention. He hates when we leave, but DS said he said "mom" yesterday after they got home. He actually does have a meow that sounds like "mom" for when he wants me and he only uses it to get my attention. The first time I talked to DH on the phone, the cat yowled in the background. The second time, DH said as soon as he heard my voice he ran in from the hall and started meowing. He's probably thinking 'hey, where's the lady who feeds me'. I finished 8 pages and 9 cards over the weekend even with the family home and me still being responsible. Still successful Thanks for crafting and chatting everyone!

I have two tubs of kids artwork/papers to go through as well. I want to get it out of my closet. Good job staying on top of that @zingermack! LisaDV I'm sorry this weekend didn't turn out quite the way you envisioned it. I can relate to wanting them to go and missing them at the same time. I do that with Rudy lol. He's so high energy and talkative that I need some quiet, then once he's gone and I have a few hours of peace I start missing him lol. Your ink pad/brush dilemma sounds exactly like something I would do lol. teacherlisa I love the way you journal. Your pages are inspiring me to tell different stories. And have me thinking about one of the AE subs lol. LavenderLayoutLady you rock! Finished off supplies is awesome! I did no scrapping at all, so I guess my weekend didn't turn out the way I thought it would either. I am not inspired by my unfinished projects so I guess I need to let them go and move on to something I am feeling inspired by. I did go shop for new inspiring supplies though

grammadee, oh, I have been so sad for your missing the crop. I'm glad I got the weekend wrong. I hope the two of you really enjoy yourselves and that your digestive system works properly! Hugs. LisaDV, you have really accomplished a lot this weekend. Congrats. I finished 2 layouts last night but was too tired to post them. I'll add them sometime today. joyfulnana, I'm glad you got a little shopping in! That is as fun as scrapping!

2marbles , I think 11 layouts sounds like a great accomplishment. Congrats on the prizes. How's the wisdom teeth girl doing today? thank you for asking....she is ok, meds making her queasy and tired. But we are on to soft solids now instead of liquid food! She will go back to work tomorrow as there has been no bleeding, and she isn't taking narcotics during the day at all. Today was full of expensive car repairs for my middle DD and me finishing up taking pics of my weekend LOs, sorting through some donations that were brought to me yesterday for the charity shop. I have one more LO to upload for double points! whoo hoo!

Looks like another awesome crop weekend! So much getting created, purchased, organized! Thanks, LisaDV, for inviting us along on your creative escape. While it would be amazing to do this in person, the next best thing is getting together electronically. Maybe we can find a way to electronically enjoy one of LisaDV's fantastic salads! Thankyou to everyone who dropped in to chat, created stuff, shared stories and encouragement.
