I go through paper towels like crazy. Next to my laptop, there are two wads right now. Even though we now buy the select-a-size paper towels, I need to do better. What are you guilty of wasting?

Meat. I buy it and then get anxious about cooking it and then a few days later throw it out. It’s so stupid!!

Time! I waste too much time here... Fresh produce, I always have good intentions of snacking on veggies, a week later I'm throwing away at least 1/4 of what I bought.

Time and TP.
In a household of three females of course we use TP, but Come On!!! We can go through 2-3 rolls in a day at certain times of the month.
And bananas either all get eaten the day I buy them, or they lie there until I need to throw them out. There is no in-between.

Tissues and loo roll. My parents gave us limits on the amounts we could use as kids so now I’m like ‘My house, my rules!’ Also I always end up throwing 3/4 of the cucumber away as DH hates it! But at .40p for a whole one I do allow myself the luxury

Paper towels and sponges. I don't like reusing a sponge that has been used to wipe the sink or dirty dishes, so I use a soapy paper towel to wipe out the sink, another soapy paper towel to wash dishes and another one to do a counter wipe down. If I have to use a sponge or magic erase, a cut a thin piece off and use it....then toss it.
I usually rinse my dish and silverware immediately when finished eating, so food residue doesn't get it stuck on there. Therefore, doesn't require an heavy duty scrubbing...just a soapy wiping-cleaning. I like Viva select a size.
I know I go through more paper towels than the average person. I only buy paper towels when they are on sale for a good price., then I stock up.

Milk. We don’t drink much. But I have to have a fresh gallon at all times. I dump it when it goes bad and it’s usually the whole gallon. I’m so weird about having milk and I don’t even drink it!

Time and food. Ugh. 3 kids eat so unpredictability. Some weeks they devour everything in sight and others I’m tossing out too much wasted food.

Plastic bags, like Ziplocs. I take a reusable bag to the grocery store, but I use too many storage bags for lettuce and so forth.

If I buy papertowels they are gone in a day. I instead buy napkins, we've been on the same package for at least 3 months... We waste a lot of food. I cook dinner expecting DH will put it away (since I cooked, it's the least he could do). DH thinks the kids will put it away and goes upstairs to bed. The next morning I wake up and throw out food that would have made great leftovers...

Time, produce, toilet paper, paper clips. I’m so bad about throwing paper clips away instead of putting them back in the holder at school.

You guys who are throwing out your produce - throw your carrots, onions, leeks, shallots, and celery into a plastic bag in the freezer and make vegetable broth when it's full. That always makes me feel better about the celery that's starting to get bendy.

Definitely time.
I'm so overwhelmed that I just freeze. I read fluffy novels, I pea, I scrapbook.
It takes so much effort just to get done the basics in life, I feel like I've only been treading water for a decade now.on
Every time I feel like I get my feet under myself, another twist or turn knocks me back down.

years ago i felt really bad about it so i tried composting all that waste. it was didn't work out well. i didn't do all the things to get the composting going and it just turned out to be a smelly heap of produce. so that went that.

plastic containers. My DH is really good about washing them out and then either recycling them or repurposing them. Me? I'm all, "There's a bit of grape jelly stuck 2/3 of the way down and I can't be bothered to pick up the bottle brush and run some hot water." I could reuse cottage cheese containers for craft pieces or small toy part storage. I could reuse the sturdy container my salad for lunch came in for my son's markers or to organize a portion of my cosmetics or even - gasp - bring another salad to work at a later date. Do I? Nope. Into the trash (not recycling) it goes. Drives my husband nuts. And I do feel guilty. Even freebird's consumerism challenge this week made me feel guilty about it.

We can't compost because of rodents/raccoons and my compost bin fell apart... so I bought a worm bin. Once a week or so I use the blender to blend coffee grounds, egg shells and fruit and veggie scraps a little bit of paper scraps and some dried grass (from the lawnmower) and feed it to the worms. It's inside the house, doesn't smell and eventually they are supposed to eat up to a pound of food a week and I'll get great dirt for my garden out of it. I've only been at it 2 months so that's the plan anyway.

Food for me too. I like to try new recipes so I get the ingredients, cook the meal and use maybe half a pot/jar/tub of some ingredient the rest of which has to be used within 3 day...yeah, that's not likely so it ends up in the bin. I guess I could freeze things sometimes but it'll still probably end up being thrown away if I'm honest. And time...between here and Candy Crush I could have done SO much with my time!
