gramma - gee, thanks! I am limited to my iphone XS camera right now. My DSLR broke over a year ago, and while a friend gave me his old Nikon body to use with my lenses a) the body is huge and heavy (I think it's a Nikon D200) and my all-purpose 18-200 lens is not working well/focusing either. I HATE not having the instant shutter speed, and the optical zoom! More from camping. DH and I have a soda addiction. I finally gave up Dt Coke, and when I started drinking soda again I went with Pepsi with real sugar, figuring it’s better than HFCS or cancer causing fake sugar. I go up and down on consumption. We have struggles too. Well...I *had* a struggle with diet Pepsi, but gave it up 100% about 6 years ago, and wanted to get away from the chemical desperately. So I switched to fizzy water (like bubly, or store-brand, entirely unsweetened). The "cracking" open of the can and the fizz turned out to satisfy me. DH and one of my kids also like it, so that's a win. DH has an ongoing battle with Coke/Pepsi. He is addicted to both the caffeine and the sugar. When he goes "off" for a couple of weeks, he is hard to live with I keep telling him to buy caffeine pills from the drug store so that we can deal with 1 addiction at a time!! LOVING THE PHOTOS! Puppies, pools, scrapping, wisdom teeth - so much fun, so much life!
Good job with quitting. I have quit soda altogether a couple of times but always go back. I used to be diet Coke but gave that up for the sugared Pepsi. Typically would only have 1 a day, but then it eeks up to having like 3 to 5. Then I start having trouble sleeping and such and have to go back to hot tea in the morning to quit again and go with sparkling water when I need the fizz.
You have awesome camp photos. And good to know about the tennis racket, I always thought it was a person getting mad or someone trying for more golf styled tennis.

Over 30 years ago, when we moved out to the farm, a lady I worked with gave me a bunch of flower roots from her garden. I planted them around the edge of our yard and forgot about them. They remained dormant for a long time, but the last few years they have been suddenly bursting into bloom.

Tonight we played Jenga. DD went for a really hard piece. Which required lots of concentration Even she was surprised by her success And more than a little proud. The tower a few moves before the final fall. I think this brings me to over 31 photos! And gets me the bonus points. I’ll double check over the next couple of days.

My DD "wrote"/danced I guess, a big ballet exam on Saturday. A lot of work. Afterwards, we had to stop and the store and she asked to come in with me... in her tutu. Could have put on her dance shorts. But no. Tutu. I declared that she was going to "Sarah Jessica Parker the shopping". Now...I'm so introverted I was embarrassed just to be with her. But I hid that because I celebrate her bravery and confidence. She rocked it. And yes, wore the aviators the whole time too. kitbop, how cool that you celebrated her bravery and confidence by photographing her in her tutu in the grocery store! My dd never worries about what others are thinking about what she is wearing. I recall her heading into Tim Hortons' in her flannel pj's, into the grocery store in her grungy fastball practice sweats, hair in a loose pony tail pulled through the back of her baseball cap. When she got back to Alberta from New Zealand in February, She opened her suitcase in the airport, pulled out her flannel pj's and put the top on over her light jacket and wrapped the bottoms around her head. You are going to have a blast scrapping this adventure!

I love the third picture. She is so full of confidence in herself and the guy next to her is trying very hard not to look at her :-)

Hi ladies! What great photos you have shared here! I love seeing them all. Cheering for you gals. Here are some pictures from the 50th anniversary of the first space mission. Our town is a former aerospace center. We have a long history with NASA and all that. So they built a space center museum some years ago. They had some special festivities all this month that we missed but at least we went over to take a few pictures during last Saturday's celebration. These are a couple of photos from when DSO and DS went camping with DSO's brother and sister and nephew (and the three dogs): This is a Vietnamese cafe near my office, I eat there a few times each month: And this is what I usually order - chicken and lemongrass bao, beef and lemongrass bao, and soft shell crab bao and a Vietnamese iced coffee:
This is as close to snow that we ever get here (except for up on the mountains) - it was a hail storm: And this one was from the same day, at a football match not far from where I live. Again, that is hail not snow, and it was so out of the ordinary that it made the news. Those poor boys in their shorts and sleeveless football jumpers (jerseys):

DD had to come into the city with me again one morning. This is a photo of her in the Block Arcade, which is a beautiful old building in the centre of the CBD that built in the late 1800's. A walk with Boris: And again: I've already posted my LO with this photo - my son running through the banner for his 100th game: An action shot: I took this photo because I was excited that it wasn't completely dark when I finished work at 5:30pm. The days are getting longer and it is only 11 weeks until daylight savings starts. Well, 10 weeks now. On Friday night it started pouring rain when I left work. When I got home I got straight into my PJs. DS and Boris: I bought a mini bundt pan a year and a half ago, and this is the first time I've actually used it: More Boris: This is one of Melbourne's landmarks, Flinders St Station. I normally get off the train at a different station several blocks away, but this morning I was busy scrapbooking on my MacBook on the train and when I looked up I was at Flinders St. I don't know whether the train bypassed the city loop stations (which sometimes happens) or whether I just missed my stop. I had to then catch a tram to work so I wasn't late.

LisaDV it’s called Hell’s Gate because it’s in the mountains and prior to railways or roads an explorer tried to get down the rapids and said it was no place for living beings. Great photos AussieMeg. Here are a few from this weekend. grammadee and I were at a crop in Calgary AB Canada put on by Scrap Happy with scrappers from all over Canada and the US. My DH came along and enjoyed some hotel down time and driving us all over. We also took a day trip to the mountains in Banff AB.

This is my mum's quilting shop. I always wished that she had gotten into scrapbooking instead of quilting, but it doesn't matter now that I do digital scrapping. And there is a Sri Lankan grocer a few doors down from mum's shop. I love Asian and sub continental grocery stores, I can spend ages in them just cruising up and down the aisles checking everything out. I bought a few things, including some stinky old Maldive dried fish bits to make a coconut sambol that a Sri Lankan friend gave me a recipe for. I also bought jackfruit but I'm a bit scared to try it!

My last three to get 31 and my bonus. As a life long Anne if Green Gables fan, I had to try this. It tasted like a raspberry soda basically. A dessert I ordered at the Banff Springs Hotel. A new to us burger joint in Edmonton.
