This week LSU travels to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators. Both teams have been inconsistent this year so it's anyone's game to win. The Gators will have a slight home field edge. I'm heading out first thing in the morning for my semi-annual crop in Sutter Creek so I will sadly miss the game as the hotel doesn't offer the SEC network.
Who does your team play? Last week we saw an incredible amount of upsets ~ will that spill over to this week's games?
GEAUX TIGERS!

My Oregon Ducks are playing UCLA. Should be a good game and I'm hoping we can redeem ourselves after last week.

After a bye last week, Penn State is headed to Michigan.
I'm not feeling very good about our chances, but I hope it's a good game.
GO LIONS!

It's the Red River Rivalry this weekend!
Oklahoma plays Texas every year in the Cotton Bowl in the middle of the State Fair in Dallas. They've been meeting in Dallas (half way between Norman and Austin) for over 100 years. The Cotton Bowl is divided down the middle-half the fans are wearing red and half are wearing burnt orange. It's a great college football tradition.
I'm hoping Oklahoma can bounce back after last week's loss to TCU and beat Texas.

In case you guys can't remember, mine is now a divided household. I am a diehard Florida fan. My son, the traitorous wretch, is now attending LSU. This weekend is for bragging rights. (and a weekend for Muschamp to possibly hammer another nail into his coffin. I think the powers that be are very tired of losing. They gave Muschamp time to get his act together and it just isn't happening. I suspect that he will be gone by the end of the season. I just wish he would get over his love affair with Jeff Driskel.)

It's Homecoming at Iowa! The Hawkeyes take on Indiana tomorrow at 11:00am. We're heading to a football party to watch with our favorite fellow Hawkeye fans and I'm taking celebration sandwiches aka funeral sandwiches...this crowd eats them up!

The Huskers have a bye week. We need it to recover from last week's game.

We play Syracuse today at noon. I'm looking forward to the Auburn/Miss State game. Should be fun. :-) I'm so sad…we just sold our Notre Dame/Florida State tickets. I can't believe we aren't going to the game. anxiousmom, how pissed are you that Muschamp let Jacoby Brissett go to NC Sate? That kid is ridiculous!

anxiousmom, how pissed are you that Muschamp let Jacoby Brissett go to NC Sate? That kid is ridiculous! Pretty pissed. Because of Muschamp's love affair with Jeff Driskel, he let good players go who could have pulled us up out of this hole we are in. It's like he has blinders on and is stuck on playing this one guy. Muschamp may be a good coach, but he is NOT an SEC coach. Not even close.

West Virginia's taking on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Here's hoping the Mountaineers can pull out a win!
And my second team, Alabama plays Arkansas. As crazy as they've been playing, who knows who will win this one!

My BYU lost to USC on Thursday, dang it!
My daughter goes to Baylor so we are hoping they can pull off a win to TCU. I tried to get tickets but they were too expensive. At least my daughter gets to go though even for students tickets are hard tricky to get. SIC 'EM BEARS!
I would love for Texas to beat OU today but after our experience with cocky Texas fans last week in Austin, I almost don't care! OK...HOOK 'EM HORNS!

Unbelievable ending for WVU and Texas Tech. Josh Lambert kicked his second game_wining field goal of the year with time expiring, this time from 55 yards! Way to go Mountaineers!

I checked the score with 11 minutes to go and the Mountaineers were down by 7. So I snoozed a little, then got up and checked again. Amazing! I'm hoping Holgerson has turned a corner with them and we'll be winning more Big 12 games!

STUPID no call at the end. Even with all their injuries. We are flipping today between Notre Dame -NC and the UCLA and Oregon and Miss and Auburn.

YAY! The Iowa Hawkeyes beat Indiana 45-29. The best part for me was seeing Coach Ferentz playing both QBs.

Not sure what on earth is going on with Auburn, but DH is sure happy. Miss. State is leading 21-0.....and the first quarter isn't even over! We've made it to the half and it's only slightly better.

Really enjoying the MS State/Auburn game. I rarely watch football games, but this one has been great (at least for us Bulldog fans).

Well done, Mississippi State! That was a great game! I am wishing that my cable provider provided the SEC network as advertised.
Kymberlee, I am surprised that you would give up Notre Dame tickets. Hoping the 'Noles are prepared for that one.

Hoping the 'Noles are prepared for that one. I almost shed a tear when DH hit the transfer button. We have been planning to go, but DH can't get the time away. I was going to go by myself and meet some friends but flights into Tallahassee were ridiculous. I'm sick about it.
