Tonight I'm hosting a meeting for the Trunk or Treat event I help organize for our church. It's not until 7:00 but I'm making several appetizers and my friend is bringing Apple crisp. I'll probably have a big serving of that and call it dinner And there will be wine, adult beverages and soft drinks What are your plans for tonight?

Not 100% sure. Dh is out tonight. There's a chance I might have 2 extra kids over for dinner. Maybe I'll defrost some of the meatballs I made last week and cook up spaghetti. Oooooh, I have a stalk of brussel sprouts in the fridge - maybe I'll roast those for me :-)

Spaghetti, Italian Sausage, gasp(jarred sauce)and big green salad. I have been traveling all this week & wont' be home until about 7 tonight. So this is the easy somewhat "homecooked" meal. I am so tired of eating out.

Another spaghetti here too. It was that thread about what to add to a jarred sauce that gave me a craving for it. LOL

I grilled Sunday and made enough food to last until Friday: steaks, hot dogs, beer & onion soaked bratwursts and campfire potatoes.

I'm not sure and have no motivation to come up with something either. I think I need to come to one of your houses for dinner tonight!

Chicken Tortilla Soup. I assembled it, threw it in the crockpot and now I can rest out the day. My dh has been wonderful about taking care of meals, but I'm sure everyone is tired of sandwiches and lighter take-out. I made myself do this and now I'm zonked.

We are having beef rice. I have been crazy addicted to rice lately... can't get enough of it. I will add in some broccoli and cauliflower with mine... but daughter and husband will not eat veggies.... might have to do some green beans with theirs. I do put in chopped onion and carrots so they are getting some veggies... better than none.....

Absolutely no idea. Fridge is full of leftovers again. Does that mean I don't have to cook??

Absolutely no idea. Fridge is full of leftovers again. Does that mean I don't have to cook?? It does in my house! The Italian restaurant where my son works has a few specialties and one of them is a Nacho pasta sauce. For my birthday, the cook gave him a batch of it to bring home for me (he knows how I love it). We're having that over pasta tonite. Green salad on the side.

For me a frozen meal. I made beef stew earlier in the week and am tired of it. My husband can eat the same thing 5 nights in a row. He doesn't care. He's easy that way.

I just wanted to say that I *did* fix spaghetti for dinner tonight and it was the single worst I have ever made. I don't have the foggiest notion what I did differently, but OMG . I ended up tossing it all and eating plain pasta with parm cheese. As far as I could tell, I didn't do a single thing any differently than I ever do...but I must have blinked and added a healthy dose of yuckiness because it stink, stank, stunk.
