Grilled Italian sausages & onions with coleslaw and leftover beets & brussel sprouts (roasted a couple of days ago). It was almost dark out when I finished grilling tonight, so it looks like my grilling season is coming to an end

Sorry to hear about your spaghetti disaster, anxiousmom. I was just coming back to say that the 5yo came home from kindergarten raving about the pumpkin soup they had sampled in the lunchroom (for some reason??), and wanted pumpkin soup for dinner. For my part, I had one remaining package of cooked pumpkin in the freezer from last fall's harvest that I've been meaning to use, and no dinner plans whatsoever. Match made in heaven. P.S. he didn't like the pumpkin soup after I made it. He thought it had tadpoles in it (it was bits of dried thyme he was complaining about). I had to hand-feed him to get any of it down him. Honest, I don't make a habit of hand-feeding the little bugger. Really. On the other hand, he completely washed himself in the shower and all I had to do wash his hair. We're getting there. Slowly. Okay, I'm done rambling now.

The noun version is different from the the verb. At least, I hope so.

Okay, now I have to go and look! ETA holy moly! I totally missed that craziness first time out. Yes, bugger can mean something bad. Mostly it doesn't. In particular not when I'm talking about my grandson. georgiapea!
