Has anyone purchased anything from the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog?
I picked up the Dino Days, Praiseworthy Prose, Free as a Bird, and Floral Essence stamp sets, the new In Colors paper & Ink, plus some embellishments and matching dies.
I have several SU dinosaur stamp sets and this one is by far my favorite. So cute! Great sentiments, too.
Free as a Bird is a lot of fun to color! I really like the matching stitched dies for this set, too.
I also really like the In Colors this year! So soft and pretty. Seaside Spray is gorgeous and the perfect pale blue.

I always find their stamps so $$$ compared to all the others I like from other companies

I got all the new In Colour ink pads and ribbons. Just love the new ribbons. Also the Free as a Bird suite. Can't wait for it to get here!

The Free as a bird bundle is calling my name. But since I have an overabundance of stamp sets that I haven't used, maybe I should just get the nested dies. This month is bonus days so I may go ahead and get the bundle.

OP, I love your dinosaur cards!
I ordered the Free as a Bird suite, too. I love those little birds! I also got the Wild Rose set and the new In-Colors - it all arrived just before I left for vacation 2 weeks ago so I haven't even had a chance to play with them yet. Hopefully, I can this weekend.
I'm really tempted by the Magnolia set, too, that may be on my next order.

I love this Floral Essence Bundle but I wish it came with matching dies, not a punch. Beautiful card!! I ordered some of those yellow fuzzy centers, but I know I'll never make them look that good! |

Sadly after years (and years) of supporting SU I think I’m done with them. After the continued hassle with their trimmer blades, before and after they discontinued them, I no longer want to support them. I will continue to admire their designs and what people are making with them though!

I guess I wasn’t paying attention. What happened with their trimmer and blades? They discontinued the trimmer and the blades were unavailable for a while. Then they were available but there was a limit on how many a person could buy - I believe this was in response to opening up the blade sales in Europe first and people were ordering hundreds at a time. Anyway, once they were available in the US again, they sold out in 10 minutes. Apparently, they will be available again in the future but don't know when. I think the trimmer was discontinued in the first place because the blades were so hard to get. They are coming out with a new trimmer soon, I think the prototype is already done. craftymom101, your card is awesome! |
